SimpliSafe Entry Sensor (Pack of 4) - Window and Door Protection - Compatible with The SimpliSafe Home Security System - Latest Gen

I avoided setting mine up for a week because I was worried it would be to techy for me. It was VERY easy to install and get working. The camera is amazing ~ I got a notice on my phone while out of town that somebody was in the kitchen. (It was my adult daughter!) the notifications work!!

We ordered our bundle directly from SimpliSafe. Everything was easy to install and hook up to our wifi - we are currently using the water/flood sensor, the motion detector, the glass break sensor, and the entry sensors. The tape on several of the sensors/detectors fell off after a few days so I recommend using the tiny screws included with the system. My main complaints are with their motion sensors and their customer service. We installed the motion sensors up high as per the instructions if you have a cat. Unfortunately we have had 3 false alarms in the last 5 months due to our cat setting them off. I called their customer service to tell them their product was not working as advertised and we would like to exchange the motion sensors for additional entry sensors. They told me an exchange was not possible since I was over the 60 day trial period. If I had to do it all over again I would have gone with Cove. My neighbors say their customer service is great.

Had one sensor go out, purchased this as a replacement. Simple to install. Works perfect.

I forget they sensors are there a lot of the time. Easy to install.

Love the whole system very easy

If you bought your simplisafe system after 2018 then the sensors will not work / connect to your system. Simplisafe updated their system at this time - I bought these trying to get the bulk price and once I got them found they had a 6 digit SN and the original entry sensors only have 5 digits so you cant even enter the SN into the key pad to get them to connect to the original system. On summary you are stuck either getting a completely new system or going directly to simplisafe.com and paying full price and shipping from them. Spent 13 on shipping alone from them, at least they still have them I guess.
