We needed more entry sensors. One for the shed, for the crawlspace door, and for a new exterior door. Affordable and easy to install.

Ordered these Simplisafe sensors from Amazon because you get a pack of 4 for $50 compared to $60 from Simplisafe. These sensors are very easy to add to your Simplisafe system. Took me about 15 minutes to install all 8 sensors. I have had my Simplisafe system for over a year now. Absolutely love this security system.

Added these 4 entry sensors easily. I modified one of them to connect and trigger from our previous hardwired circuits. This works well. Good feature of the Simplisafe system is that you can indentify each sensor separately. The 4 pack was delivered quickly and is high quality.

Bull%#^ system. Doesn’t work when you need it. Goes offline. Do not buy.

As expected

Easy installation and sync to base.

This was an add-on entry sensor since I already had ones for every exterior entry, including doggie door. However, while the doggie door sensor worked when completely closed for when I took trips, I wanted the extra protection for when I left it partially opened for pet entry/exit while I wasnt on a trip. For that added security, I added this sensor about halfway up such that door was open enough for pet but would require a person to lift it higher for entry; thus, setting off the alarm. So, was not on trip, I set the base unit to disable the doggie door closed sensor and enable the pet entry/exit door sensor. When on a trip, I set the base unit to disable the pet entry/exit door sensor and enable the doggie door sensor. Works like a charm.
