The whole SimpliSafe system is easy to install Very nice quality. Customer service excellent. They walked me through installing window sensors I was having a problem with. Very patient and helpful.

Customer service: just a canned list of instructions! The battery door is so snug, that it cant come off unless the sensor is essentially glued off the door -- one still struggles with it to open it with a screw driver or something. Poor plasticky design. The bigger issue: then the Base station (the system) just doesnt recognize the sensor after its battery replacement. Calling the customer service is basically a painful reminder that every time I will have to remove the sensor from the list of devices being monitored, and then add it back. Simply ridiculous product. This is my fifth call their customer service on one thing or the other.. Usually the product works okay, but the pain points are too many. This is much more painful than changing a bulb. As if life should just revolve around fixing Simplisafe issues at home!

The setup is so simple, I had my 6 year old do the system. Do not let these little devices fool you, mine work to perfection (obviously not all will work as there are some that wont work due to factory production). I cant comment on the glass break because that would require me to break my window. If the mode is off, you will hear a chime telling you the door(s) or window(s) are opened. I will tell you be careful removing the piece to install a new battery. Too much force can pull off the paint or break the sensor. Just FYI

I love this system and I bought this extra sensor to add to the system. Very affordable and easy to install!

I did not have the chance to check it how it is works because the base was already register by another one account, How is possible ?? they are sell a Home Secure system and you can register your base devices by another account without any MFA (Multiple Factor Authentication), I made a call with SimpleSafe support and they simple answer that someone register it by mistake maybe typing a wrong number like 8 instead of B. What!!!. And that was the answer from them say and no other option just to replace the device. The cruciality here is that it is possible to register the base devices by mistake and without MFA.... Wooooow!!! So really bad :(

Installation of various sensors was well explained in the manual. I had to contact SimpliSafe regarding camera installation as they asked for a password which I didnt know. Turned out to be the router password. Agent was very helpful.
