To start, this adaptor is hard to find out of the online world. Once more, Amazon had it.

Worked well for installing an M.2 NVME drive on my 2014 Mac Mini. With this adapter you can use a regular M.2 NVME drive and not need the Apple-specific drive and adapter. So much cheaper to upgrade your Mac Mini this way.

Worked perfectly with my 2014 MacMini. Now Ive got a ssd boot drive and I didnt need to disassemble it nearly as much.

This is the simplest and cheapest straightforward way to upgrade your SSD in your 2014 mini... this stuff worked like it was a factory part and yet it enables you to use PC NVMe drives... its amazing!

I purchased this (on another amazon account) to upgrade a late 2014 Mac mini with Fusion drive. This means that the Mac mini already had a 2.5” SATA drive installed as well as a small caching SSD in the top slot. If you’re going to try this, use the excellent guide at iFixit to see how it’s done, but be aware of a few things:

A standard NVMe SSD Samsung with this adapter works great in an Mac Mini.

Do this for increased internal storage. Easy to do, check YouTube for tutorials…worth the investment of time and money.

worked first time on mac-mini late 2014. was a lot easier installing this than changing the sata.
