15-06-2025Easy install. Wasn’t aware that NVME drives sit at a 30 degree angle, so that freaked me out since I thought my drive was bent. Mac mini detected the drive after a format. Used the included adhesive and screw to seat the adapter appropriately. It fit into the logic board easily.

> 3 dayI bought an SSD and used this adapter card to upgrade my Mac Mini. Dont forget the correct screwdriver for the screws on the bottom of the case. No joke...I was torn down, upgraded, and booted back up in less than TEN minutes. Super easy upgrade even if youre a novice.

Greater than one weekIf you have a 2014 Mac Mini with a mechanical SATA 5400 HD, you should upgrade to an NVME SSD using this adapter. My Mac Mini was about done for, it was so slow. This gave it new life.

Greater than one weekIt was really easy to install. The kit comes with 2 Phillip screws and a screwdriver for them (no T6) to secure the adapter to the Mac mini and to secure the SSD to the adapter, respectively. The installation was really easy and fast. I used a T6 security torx screwdriver to open the Mac mini, remove the adhesive strip from the adapter, set the adapter into position, press down the adapters conector against the available SATA port (readily visible once you remove the Mac mini bottom lid) and installed the SSD (Crucial P1 500GB). That simple! I booted into macOS High Sierra (does not work with Sierra or prior versions of macOS) and the SSD was immediately recognized and requested to format. When I run the speed test with Blackmagic disk speed test software I get 700 MB/s write and nearly 800 MB/s read. Ive even got to configure it as a fusion drive using the Mac minis factory 1TB HDD! It made my Mac mini late 2014 usable, because it was painfully slow.

Greater than one weekThe Sintech M.2 NGFF NVMe SSD Card is great quality adapter, that was easy to install. The best thing about this adapter is the included screw and screwdriver. The screw does a good job of holding the SSD in place. This fit nicely in a Mac Mini, took minutes to install.

> 3 dayThe late 2014 Mac Mini, which sells used for a price between 300-450US$ is a good buy, can run BigSur, and it has a small port that can snap with this adapter to give you an extra storage space. The process is simple & this product is of good quality.

Greater than one weekThis is the simplest and cheapest straightforward way to upgrade your SSD in your 2014 mini... this stuff worked like it was a factory part and yet it enables you to use PC NVMe drives... its amazing!
