Sintech M.2 NGFF NVMe SSD Card for Upgrade Mac Mini Late 2014 Year A1347 MEG Series(Only for late 2014 Year,not fit Other year)

Great experience with the product and installation on my Mac Mini 2014. Was able to install a PCIE NVME Drive that acted as the main boot up drive along side the original hard drive as storage. Since it is difficult to self remove and replace the factory drive, this is a perfect alternative solution if you want an SSD installed. Highly recommended!

The Sintech M.2 NGFF NVMe SSD Card is great quality adapter, that was easy to install. The best thing about this adapter is the included screw and screwdriver. The screw does a good job of holding the SSD in place. This fit nicely in a Mac Mini, took minutes to install.

Very easy install, works fine. Upgraded mac mini 2014 with ssd, now it runs Big Sur smoothly.

I coupled this card with an inexpensive 500GB SSD. Installation was easy (no need to disassemble the Mac Mini--just remove the bottom and 6 screws that hold in the metal plate.). The NVMe SSD was recognized immediately upon boot up (OS X 10.13.6). The SSD makes an enormous difference in speed. Unlike many of the other SSD adapters for the 2014 Mac Mini, this one works with the less expensive standard NVMe SSD, not Apples proprietary SSD. A great choice for breathing new life into a 2014 Mac Mini.

This adapter worked exactly as it was intended. It snaps into place and a screw is provided to secure the NVMe SSD card in place. I installed a Pioneer brand 256 GB drive. My late 2014 Mac mini recognized the disk immediately. After formatting and transferring my files via migration, my computer became young and peppy again. I recommend this adapter.

I got a used Mac Mini and wanted to speed up the OS so I got this and and NVME drive. It took a 15 minutes to install and drastically improved the performance of MacOS. You need to double check and make sure you have the proper Mac Mini model that can accept this card/NVME drive. Also, remember that you’ll still be limited by the SATA speed bus, but you’ll max out with a quality NVME drive used as your OS drive (~600MB/s) but you won’t get the full NVME speeds so don’t break the bank getting a high performance NVME drive.

If you have a 2014 Mac Mini, this is a solid product upgrade if you are coming from a spinning HDD or even an SSD SATA drive. Easy to install - and if you remove your SATA cable/drive for this upgrade, simply use the screw retainer hold down on the PCIE coupling. I was a bit skeptical of the tape to hold the board in place, but - its 3M brand and Sintech also adds the screws for the rear hold down as well - so your SSD will be fixed properly...

Tengo una Mac mini 2014 late que para muchos sería un equipo obsoleto pero con esto pude instalar un disco M2 y pude experimentar un cambio del cielo a la tierra en velocidad de procesamientos.

This card coupled with a 500 GB Samsung 970 EVO (not Plus) has transformed my 1 TB HDD-only 2014 Mac Mini from a sluggish pain to use into a computer I really enjoy using. Installation was very easy. Make sure you have the special T6 Torx screwdriver with the hole in the middle of the driver head to remove the screws from the bottom plate on the Mini. The two tiny screws included with the card worked perfectly, one to mount the card to the Mini once the card is socketed and one to hold the SSD in the card. MacOS Catalina recognized the SSD immediately so I erased it and formatted Mac OS Extended, then rebooted into Recovery Mode, and followed Apple’s instructions to “unsplit” a Fusion drive so the existing HDD and new SSD work as a single 1.5 TB Fusion drive. Super easy, but you can also keep the drives separate. This card is the single best upgrade available for the HDD-only 2014 Mac Mini.
