21-11-2024I purchased this product to add SSD drive as a primary drive without removing the 1TB hard drive that my laptop came with. This worked very nicely for me. Installation was easy and replication of the harddisk was effortless using the dedicated macrium.software for sk-hynix.now the laptop boots up in a flash. I dont have tools to test read and write speeds so I cannot compare this product with other products.

> 3 dayBought it for the new OWC Envoy Express Enclosure to use on my MacMini. The enclosure shows up in System Information on my MacMini but no drive: SSD will not mount or show up. SK Hynix wrote me back and said it is NOT to be used in external enclosures, only internally. That was not in the description on the Amazon site. Course, Amazon will not refund or allow return. Not happy here.

Greater than one weekI dont do video editing or anything that requires intense storage access, so I cant vouch for the data transfer speed, but so far its been reliable for normal everyday use. This is my first NVMe drive so I was not familiar installing it, but installation was straight forward after watching a simple YouTube video. This drive replaced my old Samsung SATA SSD as my main boot drive. So far so good. Hope it stays reliable for a long.

Greater than one weekOne of the better PCIE drives I have encountered, installed inside of a DELL Precision 7520, and its flying along with no issues currently. Defiantly better than the cheaper Inland drives .
