Greater than one weekWanted something to put in my gaming laptop that ran cooler than my last SSD to keep temps down. Replaced it and noticed an immediate difference in GPU running temp under low/medium load. Would definitely spend the extra dollars again.

> 3 dayThis is a really good drive from a reputable maker. Gen 3 drives are a much better value at this time and unless you were doing heavy video editing or the like you wouldnt notice the difference in speeds from Gen 3 to Gen 4, especially for gaming.

Greater than one weekWhenever I first got my PC I was looking for a fast and relatively large m.2. Well this has certainly done the truck and Ill continue using it for years to come.

> 3 dayIts hilarious how quick NVMe drives are getting. These SK hynix drives arent the absolute fastest on the market, but honestly theyre fast enough for almost every purpose I can find for them. I didnt need a lot of space, so I went with the 500GB drive as a secondary drive in a MiniITX gaming rig build I did during the pandemic. Plenty of space for the games I play (mostly VR), given that I have another 500GB NVMe in the primary slot.

> 3 dayBought this for additional storage to be used solely for PC gaming on my Lenovo computer. Its last gen (gen 3) but when I bought it gen 4 stuff was pretty hard to come by and far more expensive. For the money it has been totally worth it. I have played Skyrim...with mods...and recently Halo Infinite and load times are quick. I decided against a heatsink after watching a few videos where they tested and felt that it wasnt really necessary, I believe because last gen tech doesnt run as hot. Plus, my Lenovo has lots of mesh, 2 intakes fans, and 2 exhaust fans and is located in an open air space. Ive never had any freezes due to overheating so it appears to be fine.
