Very fast, easy to install, cloned it no prob.

So my husband told me I should get this to expand my computers memory by double. He said SSD cards are really easy to install. I got this and planned on him to install it. He goes to install it and plugs it into the SSD cord internally, but the computer wont start! He tinkers with a few things and it still wont, so we figured it broke and he removes this SSD card from the SSD slot. A few days later on a whim I start the computer and its working back to normal, without the SSD card in it. A couple weeks later all is still going well so we try the SSD card again thinking it was something else that did that to the computer. Well, same thing... my computer wont turn on, with or without the SSD card in the slot! Im crossing my fingers and hoping after resting a few days again that itll work. The only reason Im not giving this a 1 star is because I decided to look further into the issue this time and it turns out THIS IS NOT A NORMAL SSD CARD! This is a M2 and does not hook up where a normal SSD card does. And my computer doesnt have the proper place to hook a M2 up to. So... if you are thinking this is like any other SSD card, think again. And be very careful if you dont really know what you are doing or you might end up with no computer!

This is the 1TB version. As you can see, I have the 2020 version of the HP Envy with the new Ryzen 7 processor. I didnt get the advertised speed. If only I didnt install so many software on the HD, I would refund it.

I put it in my high end pc z390 xtreme i9 9900k 2080ti and this thing is amazing.now it does get hot but I put a heat sink on it and now it’s cool

I saw excellent reviews about this SSD, especially its power efficiency, and decided to buy one for my MacBook Air 2017. These MacBooks can be upgraded with standard SSDs using an adapter. Most SSDs work, and I have successfully used WD and ADATA SSDs in Macs internally. But this one would not boot the MacBook Air when installed as an internal drive, but would just boot fine in an external enclosure. I contacted SK Hynix, they informed me that this drive would not work internally on a Mac and offered me a refund. Nevertheless, I decided to keep the drive as a reserve drive for an external enclosure.
