> 3 dayThe good news is that the SK hynix Gold P31 1TB SSD is one of the fastest drives I have ever seen in real-world performance. Additionally, its endurance rating is one of the highest on the market at this time. If youre planning to use this for Windows or Linux (Ive used it on Fedora 33) then it would probably be a as good as the Samsung in performance, which is its closest rival right now. Given the current price parity between the two either could be a good fit.

> 3 dayIts an SSD. Ive been using them almost exclusively for 6-7 years now so Im used to their speed. Ive only had this one about 6 weeks so not much to say except so far so good. I pulled a smaller Samsung out of my XPS, put this in and reloaded the OS from scratch so I cant comment on the cloning software. Other than the usual Windows update nonsense. its been smooth sailing.

> 3 dayIn addition to SK Hynix apparently selling drives as new that had been returned (prior purchaser had very carefully switched labels on drives that I didnt notice it until installed and BIOS reported drive was Samsung), downloading their SSD drive tools is not possible because SSD.Hynix.com has download speeds I haven’t seen since dialup modems. Download consistent times out at 12MB downloaded.

Greater than one weekSpeeds, as advertised and was super easy to install EXCEPT the screw that came on my Mobo, was VERY small so handle with care. Wish it would come with extra screws. I used Macrium Reflect Free to clone my old drive. TIP: make sure you extend the drive in partition manager after you close if you are upgrading from a smaller drive.
