I love my cats, but can’t stand them getting into my closet! I tried velcroing the doors shut (only mildly effective), putting something in the sliding track to stop them (rarely worked), putting scary stuff in my closet (mostly resulting in scaring myself). I was so frustrated and randomly searched for something that would stop the closet door from opening. Found these, and for the price had to give it a try for my sanity. Now I never have to worry about coming home and seeing my closet partway open and clothes all over the floor! No more fur on clothes! No more cats getting cozy on expensive shoes! Super easy to install and, more importantly, it actually works! Whoever came up with these, thank you for giving me peace of mind.

I got this lock in hopes that it would keep my closet that has sliding doors locked and my cats out of it. It works like a charm! My cats even try to paw and push around the closet doors but the lock wont let them budge.

Simple idea, easy to install and holds well. However I found it a lot more difficult to fully lock and unlock than I had expected, especially after installation.

Was super easy to attach. And they definitely do the trick. I have a soon to be 2 year old and a 3 year old nephew who recently figures out how to unlocky patio sliding glass door. This keeps them on no problem! I was very happy with this product.

I have identical twins that are 3. I really should be a safety lock expert because my twins have trashed their share and outsmarted some others. These are perfect. I thought for sure they would have these broken in no time but the one I added to our closet door (in addition to two strap locks) prevents the doors from opening. I even tried to apply Force to see if I could get it to break off and the door fell off the track instead. I didnt think a child lock could make me so happy. I havent had to rehang an entire closet worth of clothes in months!

I love this item. Very easy to apply. My two year old son was repeatedly unlocking the sliding glass door and going outside. This little device does a very nice job of preventing him from getting out once he unlocks the door. I have peace of mind knowing that my son will not sneak outside without my knowledge. You can activate the lock by simply flipping the device to the lock position, which makes the door unable to slide open. If you want to open the door, simply pull out on the tab and the device flattens....allowing the door to slide open as usual. It dos not catch or make it any more difficult to open. This is a must have item for people with small children or just added security preventing intruders from entering your home.

Toddler can’t open for now. I’m a little concerned when she gets older/stronger. If I try to open hard enough, the lock gets knocked out of place and I can slide open the closet door. For now it keeps my 20 month old out of there, but I might need to figure out a different system in the future

Easy to install and successfully kept my cats from opening my sliding closet door. The only improvement to this product I would suggest is having it auto set when your door closes. I didn’t realize at the time of purchase that you have to manually reset the lock so my cats broke into my closet A few times. I added a second protection, by spraying the corners of the closet door with Natures Miracle No More Scratching.
