> 3 dayAbsolutely great and innovative idea... My 2yo loved opening and shutting her sliding closet doors at night to play and this put an immediate end to that. Just took it off with dental floss as someone recommended (after trying to pull it off) and the tape has horrendously buggered up the door. Lots of residue that I cant get off. This just goes to show how strong it is though so cant really complain about that. Just be aware if this is a temporary fix and you might have a permanent mark left behind.

04-06-2025I purchased it because my cat kept opening the doors. She still gets her exercise trying:) I love it. Easy peasy to install and easy to lock and unlock. It took me a few times to get used to it, but works great!

> 3 dayWe travel full time in our RV with a dog and two cats. To keep the dog from eating the cat food, we leave their food in the shower, which has three sliding glass doors. We kept the doors closed most of the way so only the cats could fit through, but our big 75 pound dog figured out how to push the doors open with his nose! Now we have these locks on the doors and the dog cant get to the cat food. Plus, its very easy to open them up to allow the doors to slide completely open when we need them too. We LOVE this product!!

> 3 dayThis product works well 98% of the time. My reason for the 4 star rating is that if you pull on the door in a specific way, the lock failed. It wasnt a hard pull, since my 3 year old was the one who got the door opened a few times in a 3 week period. Its been hard to replicate that instant as my husband and I havent been able to pull it open. Since then though the lock has held up, and he tries to open the door frequently.

> 3 dayThis works exactly as intended, to stop my small children from opening the sliding back door. It definitely stops the door from opening. We have only had it for a couple of months, so not sure about the durability, it is hard plastic, so I dont anticipate that it will last a very long time, but I would just buy another. It was easy to install. There was a learning curve for unlocking it, it kind of gets stuck and since it is placed higher, you cant quite see how to unstick it. Once we got used to it, it is not a problem.

> 3 daySo far it works but Im still very disappointed. If I didnt need these immediately I would return for what I bought before. They are the same unfortunate PC (polycarbonate) instead of Polypropylene. This brand claimed to use PP so I was ready to buy. The other ones I have are the same other than being more inconspicuous. These will draw the attention of my disabled child....they are impossible not to notice if you pay any attention to the door IMO. They are three times the size of the ones I already have and they work fine. This is just unecessary and bad false representation.

Greater than one weekThis simple lock works perfectly to keep my little hooligan of a cat from opening the closet doors anymore! It took about two seconds to put in place and the doors still slide easily when its unlocked. The little monkey will simply have to find trouble elsewhere now.
