> 3 dayI have a sliding barn style door for my pantry that my daughter (2 yo) loved moving to the side to get into mischief. This is the perfect solution. Super easy to put up, easy to use, and keeps her out of potentially harmful places. Worth the purchase!

Greater than one weekThese are by far the best childproofing sliding door locks we have found, and weve tried a few. Theres not much to say except: they work, they look good, and theyre sturdy enough to have survived many attempts by our toddler to open the doors without any signs of distress. My only piece of advice is to be careful how close you put them to the door it will be holding shut. Too far away, and your child may be able to a.) stick their fingers in the crack and potentially slam them in there still OR b.) pull at the door with enough momentum to potentially damage the lock. Too close and youll either a.) have the lock under constant strain if the door its holding back is constantly applying pressure to it OR b.) it will be harder to set the lock with one hand because youll have to always push the door its holding back away simultaneously while setting the lock. That last scenario (a touch too close) is what Im dealing with on one of our doors, but its only a very minor annoyance. Just follow the directions on the product and youll be fine. I, being a typical dad, just went for it and put it slightly too close. Installed the rest with a very slight gap and theyre perfect.

Greater than one weekSuper easy to lock and unlock once you get used to it. I got it to stop my cat from continually opening the closet and jumping and tearing holes in my clothes and she’s stopped messing with it after like a day of trying and no luck haha, would recommend for sure and it’s so cheap

> 3 daySo Id say Im more tossed up between a 3 and a 4 star review. Id say 4 because it does work! Sticks good, and locks the window and doors in place.... but..... we have these real light weight flimsy fake wood sliding doors in our apartment. And some how my son figured out, if he pulls just right and does it enough times it pops the latch and with one last pull it pops it loose.... so ultimately if there is no slack in your window or door its good. But with some slack and room to slide? Its not that great. Also if someone is super strong they could ultimately break it real easy. But otherwise its a good product. So I rate it 3 and a half.

> 3 dayI did try one on and it came off after couple hours. I am hoping it is long lasting but I still dont know because it us my first day of using it. It does hold the door if it stays on. It is great. I tried to open the door and I was afraid it will break but it did not.

> 3 dayThese sliding door locks have been perfect for baby proofing my sons room. His closet actually has 3 sliding doors and although I was hesitant to purchase at first, Im so glad that I did! One package has two locks so it was just enough to put one on two of his closet doors. Each lock rests against the middle door, keeping it in place. Installation only took a few seconds couldnt have been easier. Unlocking them is simple and they remain locked as long as you make sure that it is secure (just press down on the angled piece to be sure). I havent tried to remove them yet but Im sure theyll leave behind a little bit of residue, which can be easily removed with a razor blade and some elbow grease.
