> 3 dayI love my cats, but can’t stand them getting into my closet! I tried velcroing the doors shut (only mildly effective), putting something in the sliding track to stop them (rarely worked), putting scary stuff in my closet (mostly resulting in scaring myself). I was so frustrated and randomly searched for something that would stop the closet door from opening. Found these, and for the price had to give it a try for my sanity. Now I never have to worry about coming home and seeing my closet partway open and clothes all over the floor! No more fur on clothes! No more cats getting cozy on expensive shoes! Super easy to install and, more importantly, it actually works! Whoever came up with these, thank you for giving me peace of mind.

> 3 dayPerfect for a sliding door that has no lock or a lock that your child can unlock. This was very easy to install and worked great! My 2 year old would put all of her body weight on the door trying to open it and the adhesive never gave!

Greater than one weekOur cats figured out how to open the closets sliding doors by shoving their head into the gap and then pushing--they cant do it anymore! Its really funny because they can totally tell the child locks are what made the difference, and sometimes I catch them jumping to try to hit it. Its easy to use, has been stuck to our closet door for 2 months now, and is small and clean-looking, aesthetically.

Greater than one weekI have ordered two sets of these--one in August 2015 and another in February 2016 because I loved the first two sets so much. I have two kids ages 4 and 1.5 who love getting into things. Not in a bad way but my 1.5 year old loves to help by bringing me things. I also live in a smaller rambler so I cant always keep them out of rooms or places. Especially when my nanny and her two kids are over. So I needed some good solutions to closet storage. My 4 year old never got into things when she was a baby but oh man, my 1.5 year old sure does. These Sure Basics Sliding Door Locks are more powerful than you would think. I start by washing the spot where you want to put them and then letting that spot thoroughly dry. I held each one in place for around 30 seconds to a minute to get a good bond and then waited a day or so to actually use them. So, true mommy brain happened and I put my first two on backwards. Luckily they work just as well backwards as they do forwards. I really like how they are really small and after a while, I dont really notice them. They are easy to click into place and take off. So far, in the however many months Ive had them they work just as well as day 1 and havent broken or failed me yet! *Please note that although I review products at discounts often, I purchased this product for FULL PRICE. And not even just once, twice! I just wanted to write a review to recommend this to others.

> 3 daySo, I have 2 cats who cannot help but break into my sliding mirrored door closet. It was becoming a nightmare and then I came across this! Ever since I have made this purchase and put this on my closet door, I have noticed the attempt my cats have made to break in and their epic fails! I havent had to refold anything or hang up my clothes again. They have gotten in once or twice by being persistent but I can deal with that instead of finding them in my closet every day. If you have 2 sneaky and very smart cats then yes, this should do the trick.

> 3 dayI use these locks on my sliding closet doors. My cat loves getting into my closet. He learned how to paw the doors until they slid open—which is very cute, and totally what cats do. However, whenever he has gotten into my closet, hes knocked things over and it looked like a train drove through it. So... after devising makeshift blocking systems—which entailed cutting to-size, and placing a long gift wrap tube along the runners, to keep the doors from sliding—my wife suggested these. Perfection! No more cardboard tubes. Easy access to opening and locking my closet doors. My cat still tries to get into my closet, but now I let him in supervised from time to time. :-)

> 3 daySimple idea, easy to install and holds well. However I found it a lot more difficult to fully lock and unlock than I had expected, especially after installation.

> 3 dayThis product works well 98% of the time. My reason for the 4 star rating is that if you pull on the door in a specific way, the lock failed. It wasnt a hard pull, since my 3 year old was the one who got the door opened a few times in a 3 week period. Its been hard to replicate that instant as my husband and I havent been able to pull it open. Since then though the lock has held up, and he tries to open the door frequently.

> 3 dayI got this lock in hopes that it would keep my closet that has sliding doors locked and my cats out of it. It works like a charm! My cats even try to paw and push around the closet doors but the lock wont let them budge.

> 3 dayPerfect to prevent my one kitty who really wants opposable thumbs and has managed to open our sliding wood closet doors and go hunting.
