Smart Light Switch, WiFi Switch Touch Wall Switch 1 Gang, Compatible with Alexa Google Home

Im very happy with this purchase. I got it so I can turn on and off my front patio lights from my phone while away on business. It works great and I can put it on a timer to do it at specific times / days of the week. The manual use is also great - you still get the feedback noise and light by pressing it on and off by hand. Also looks great in my front entry way, not ugly or big/thick like some others Ive seen on the market. Instructions were obviously translated, so you may need to be somewhat used to wiring lights up. Its a straightforward process Ive done before but the instructions were a 5/10.

It was a little bit of a tight fight in the 3-gang box, but the SmartThings app recognized the installed switches right away. Alexa integration was good. So far - quite satisfied.

the wires coming with it is super short, so it makes the installation a disaster. Other than that, it is a great product

Switch’s were nice in the beginning…. And then the problems started. They are constantly going offline… requiring me to flip breakers to get them to reset. On 4 of them the glass has come off and are falling down. Save your money get something else.

The store was not to cooperative as these are only listed on the USA (.com) indicates on Canada (.ca)site in a month. Store said order it on .com. So you will pay duty. The switch is made of plastic including the mounting portion of the switch so don’t tighten to tight or it will crack. Also switch is slightly larger then cover plate. So have file the cover plate. Switch requires a hard push for the switch to operate and must be pressed on the power light. . Works with smart Life, Alexa and google home. Switch mounting holes are one horizontal one vertical so can not adjust so it fits in the cover plate with mutable switches.

I purchased these light switches as an affordable alternative to other name brands on the market that were 3 times the price! After receiving them, I called an electrician and had them installed by a reputable professional in my local area. I proceeded to navigate the the instructions to pair them with my wifi and after a couple of times, I had all the light switches paired and working great. Hopefully time will tell if they will last - I would say the only con of these lights is the housing itself is a little bigger than standard lights which is completely understandable, So if you will be installing multiple switches in a 2, 3, or 4 gang wall unit; you will have to space them accordingly in order for them to fit just right.
