Wasn’t the easies to setup. And now one stopped working and unreachable by WiFi. They are both installed in the same socket?!?! Looks good quality but something is just a bit too messed up with the setup.

I bought 2 of these. And the first one isntalled pretty easily. But why they use stranded wire for the neutral and ground extensions is beyond me. They dont want to stay in when screwed down. So you have to either solder them or play twist it to make it extra thick. My household wires (not stranded) tapped down very well and never game out. Now for the reason Im upset. One of them the switch was in the package upside down. Immediately my spidey senses said....hmmmm...Did someone return this because it didnt work. And then I noticed the stickers for labeling my ground, live, neutral, and load wires were missing in that package. But I go and install them anyway. And sure enough one of them is simply broken. So now I have to uninstall it all and send back. Complete waste of my time for something they knew was going to happen. I understand cheap stuff from china will break. But they sold a used item to me as new. very unsat! now I have to do a return...unisntall...reinstall.

After installation there was no power output from the switch. It was not working. The electrician confirmed that the Switch was defective. I reinstated my old Manual Switch and it worked. Please send me replacement. Update - 03rd Feb 2023 After reporting 1 unit was malfunctioning this supplier sent me an immediate replace, no questions asked!! I installed it and they work great! Thank You very much for the excellent Customer Service. I will continue to purchase your products! Update - March 25th 2023 - These people actually had the audacity to send a replacement and Charge me for it although they sent a Defective Product!! They charged my credit card without my consent!!! These people are not to be trusted and never purchase their products EVER!!!

To start off, the vendor I bought this through Lesim is very helpful and responsive. 5 stars for the vendor! The vendor sent some instructions along with my first purchase that were very helpful. The switch looks nice and works well with Alexa. You first must set it up with the Smart Life app, but once you link the app with your Amazon account it merges with Alexa seamlessly. When you install an additional switch it auto adds to Alexa. My issue is quality. I have installed 5 of these switches in my house so far and 1 failed out of the box and needed a replacement. (Amazon was very responsive and quick about replacing it.) When reading other reviews before I started buying these switches I found others had this failure rate issue as well, but the ones that worked (most of them) were liked. As with most electronics, these are made in China. That old adage regarding Chinese manufacturing quality not always being too high seems to hold up with this product. If you are expecting to do a larger installation project all at the same time, then you may want a spare or two on hand.

Installed with no difficulty. Downloaded app. Went through complex programming; guidance available only in app and very awkward. Worked manually and through scheduled on and off for a few days. Then scheduled functions did not occur. Still worked manually and showed operation to be scheduled but all failed to occur. Repeated app download and set up several times, still no response to scheduled events. Removed and replaced with KASA.

Very easy to install and link to Alexa with general electrical knowledge. Save on electric with routines or timers set up.

Bought this for my kitchen -- over sink and main kitchen light. An electrician installed, and I said I would take care of the wifi part. This one was a different brand than Id previously purchased. After multiple tech support (Amazon) chats, multiple App downloads, I still couldnt get it to connect to my wifi. I gave up for a month. Retackled it today after reading another review which mentioned a different app. Downloaded that, reset the switch, and was finally able to get connected and get Alexa to turn my lights off and on. Interestingly enough -- when I connected to Alexa, both apps showed up (Smart Home and Turo). So, YAY. Electrician had no problems with install and now that its working, I love it -- the same as all my other Alexa controlled items :D.

I use these for the outside lights for my Airbnb. I have them on a timer, and I can turn them on/off remotely with the app. The app allowed me to setup timers, scenes, and widgets for my Android phone. Installation in box Not knowing much of anything about electrical wiring, it took me a while to figure out how load/line/neutral all worked together. Once I figured that out, it was fairly straight forward connecting the wires to the wifi switch that is well marked. If you have all the wiring plugged in, and it still doesnt give you a blue light....switch the Load and Line wires in the wifi switch. That should power it. Wiring my second device took a lot less time. I would recommend getting someone who knows how home wiring works. Pairing with Wireless Network Here is the tricky part - The wifi switch does NOT automatically start up in pairing mode. Once you see you have a steady blue wifi logo light on the switch, you will need to press and hold the center power icon on the switch face until the blue wifi logo starts to flash. That is your cue to begin the pairing process with your wireless network through the app you downloaded from the app store. The instruction booklet tells you which app to install. You will need to be on the same 2G wireless network that you want your switch to be on. What happens if the power goes out? Will I lose all of my settings? Your switch should automatically reconnect to the wifi with no issues once power is restored. If it does not, just re-pair it to your network. Your settings will still be there. I have the wifi switch in a double-gang box with a normal switch. I was going to purchase the face plate that was designed for such an application from Amazon, but discovered that the twelve dollar price was way too steep. I opted for the Home Depot one for ninety-eight cents.

Works otherwise, but I wanted it for a bedroom and it is very bright and distracting.

Finally a smart home device that doesnt drive me nuts trying to pair and setup. One switch was straight forward and the other was a 3 way. I disabled the third wire for the 3 way with a wire nut. Dont need 2 switches if its voice operated. Paired seamlessly with my smart phone using the Smart Life app. Enabled Smart Life app with Alexa and now voice controlled. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. I rated a 4 on durability as I just installed. Note: There are videos on YouTube for wiring these up. Be careful, ensure good strong connections, and by all means turn the breaker off when working with the wiring.
