> 3 dayWhat an absolutely cool little gadget! And why did I wait so long to try it? I started out by trying one of these switches on a ceiling light that is turned on when I first enter my house. It worked out so well that Ive been replacing switches all over the house. What a marvelous invention. I now have these smart switches in all of the rooms in the main living area of the house. Its so cool to be able to control them with the Smart Life App combined with Google Home. I can control all of the lights and ceiling fans by use of a cell phone, or even more convenient, by just giving the voice command. I cant comment on its use with Alexa, but Im sure it will, but it works very well with Google Home. These are so convenient that I cant imagine not having them. The only cons are that they sometimes can take a couple of tries to activate them. The process is easy, but it just may not take the first time and may need to be repeated. Once integrated into the system, they stay connected to the wi-fi in the home and have never lost the signal. I have also experienced a slight delay in getting the Smart Life app to link up to Google Home when adding a new switch, but so far it has always worked well. I did have a problem with one of the switches. I had an extremely difficult time getting it to program. After several attempts it would work only intermittently. I contacted tech support and they agreed to send out a replacement, and it has worked perfectly ever since. The only other con is that they only work in locations that have the white neutral wire. My home does have the neutral wire in MOST locations, but not all. Therefore there might be locations that you would like to use this smart switch but cant unless you go through the work and expense of running a neutral wire to that location. This is not a flaw with the switch, its just that it needs the neutral wire in order to do its job. I would suggest taking off the light switch cover and checking to see if you have two or three white wires all connected together with a wire nut. If you do, youre fine. Other than that, this is one of the most fun and the most useful devices Ive ever purchased. To anyone watching and not realizing what you are doing when you give a voice command, it might appear that you are talking to yourself, but its worth appearing a little crazy when you gain so much in convenience. You never have to enter a dark house ever again, and when going to bed at night, you can turn off the lights all over the house without taking a step. Absolutely fantastic.

> 3 dayThe switch does a great job of turning the lights on and off; however, Alexa rarely recognizes them. She always works on the ceiling fan switch; however, will never turn on the light. She will turn off the light though. Its pretty frustrating.

> 3 dayIn the process of changing out my traditional light switches with smart switches i have purchased some other brands but this switch seemed of higher quality. instructions were clear and the installation was easy. Connects quickly to my network (I use the smart life app and google home) and looks great I would highly recommend, and will look purchase additional switches from this company

> 3 dayInstallation was simple and straight forward for the most part. 4 wire install, Neutral, Ground, Line and Load. The switch seems to be well made and operates as you would expect. I completed the install with little effort, but I wish they would include wires a little longer than 4 inches. The only thing that seems to be consistent is you really need some better instructions in performing the Smart Life install. Your best mode of attack seems to be using the AP mode to install it, and once you figure this out, it is not so tough. I installed 4 of these, and the longest part of the install was getting them configured. Once I did that, we were good to go! The wireless symbol provides a nice night light when moving through the house in the dark!

> 3 dayThis switch is easy to install, had no problem setting it up on an IPad. Logged in on my Google Account and had it functioning right away. It is installed in a new house and all neutral wiring is in switch box, it is operating under cabinet lights, switch was installed to far from cabinets and counter so this is a fix for that. When we go out at night we turn this light on before we get home to have light in the kitchen upon returning. We have 4 other third party vender smart controls in the house, this is the best of them. In the 70’s I started using X10 and we have almost replaced every unit brought from the old house.

> 3 daySwitch’s were nice in the beginning…. And then the problems started. They are constantly going offline… requiring me to flip breakers to get them to reset. On 4 of them the glass has come off and are falling down. Save your money get something else.

Greater than one weekI mounted 2 of these to control my exterior lights. I could only get one to connect to my phone. They do not have a dusk to dawn setting, so I have to change the on and off times to match the sunrise and sunset times.

> 3 dayOrdered this to update my old analog timer switch, was looking for something I could control with my phone, Alexa, and do some home automation. This arrived on time and packaged very well. Install was easy, and pretty straightforward, connecting to the app was easy following the steps. I would give five stars but my only complaint is I had to drill out the mounting holes a bit with my Dremel to make this sit within a double gang box correctly. The holes should be a little bigger to allow more adjustment when putting in more than just a single box. If I was putting this in a single gang box it would have been fine.

> 3 dayWorks well once installed, had very hard time pairing it to the network although everything was correct. After 4 or 5 times of attempts I finally got it paired using their alternative method. Also the instructions do not match the current app layout

> 3 dayAfter using this for a day or two, I realized its not perfect. The pretty blue light is a nightmare at night. I finally had to take some dark colored duck tape and tape both sides under the face plate just so I could sleep. I still love it and it still works even with the duck tape but something has to be done about the light. Maybe it could go way dark, as in almost invisible in the dark and remain brightly lit during daylight hours, like a solar light in reverse? Previous review: I love this thing! I can now tell Alexa to turn off my ceiling fan when I get cold in the middle of the night and never leave my bed. Plus, I didnt have to disassemble my fan to install a remote sensor. I installed this wall switch in about 45 minutes. It only took me that long because I had to google some of the terms to make sure I was doing it right. The instructions the seller sent by email when I ordered it were more helpful than the ones that came with it, especially the wiring diagram. And yes, I have two wifi plugs. I also have a motion sensored light switch in my laundry room. I installed it several years ago when my elderly mother moved in with me. I didnt want her stumbling around in a dark room and fall while looking for the light switch. I am a 68-year old woman who has never had any instruction in construction. Aint technology grand! Have no idea how long this thing will last since my house is susceptible to electrical surges but Im loving it now and will probably replace it when the lightning gets it. And hopefully, I can buy some more for other switches. All hail, Alexa! One thing, this double switch actually fits in the electrical box. The first one I bought did not even though it was advertised as such. Make sure you look at the photos and read the descriptions to be certain its going to fit in the box where you plan to install it. Plus, no grimy fingerprints; just wipe them off!
