These things are amazing! Takes care of the smell better than anything else ever could. When blowing a large cloud of vapor through this and it completely disappeared after going through. If smoking a bowl though, be aware of the additional smoke that will come from the bowl when you are finished breathing from the pipe. To combat this, simply put a finger over the bowl piece to cut off oxygen and extinguish smoke. The smoke buddy works best with concentrates for this reason IMO. I have been using this in a household of non smokers mostly with concentrates but occasionally with herb as well and nobody has the slightest idea of my smoking habit! The little key chain doll was a cool little addition but unfortunately that broke within half an hour of receiving it but im not going to hold that against the product because this is a review of the smoke buddy product itself. Some smell builds up in the filter so make sure to keep the filter caps so this thing doesnt start to reek! Also, be sure to make a nice seal around your mouth when blowing through the smokebuddy so that smoke cant escape from being filtered.

I believe it really helps with scent and smoke reduction but don’t go and think you can use it in your room without people in your house still noticing. The presence and source of the smell will always reek and fill the space. I’d say they last few months with daily moderate use.

After several days of use, I was informed by my roommates that this product was indeed, not working. I think it certainly helps to an extent, but is not enough to be the singular use of smell daterant. I recommend if buying this product, you use alongside candles, or incense - some other form of smell eradication.

There is somewhat of a design flaw with this product which makes it a less-than-perfect solution for containing smoke. The issue is that the mouthpiece, or the end where you blow the smoke into, is not directly connected to the filter itself. This empty space between your mouth and the filter fills up with smoke (obviously) but that smoke never reaches the filter so when you move the device away from your mouth, the smoke just escapes from the device without ever having been filtered. It isn’t a lot of smoke, but it’s enough smoke to be detectable, especially if you are using it multiple times in one sitting. I tried to blow as hard as I could into the device to “force” that last bit of smoke into the filter, but it didn’t work. This actually made things messy because apparently when I was exhaling as hard as I could, I was also blowing saliva into the device or something, because it eventually became so filled with drool that it was leaking out the other end. Gross! Anyways, this product is pretty useful for the most part, it definitely helped immensely to keep the room somewhat free of smoke, but I’d sit next to an open window just to be sure. If you’re looking for something 100% effective, this isn’t it. But if 98% effective is sufficient enough for your needs, buy it.

Got this for my medical pot-head husband he used to used empty toilet paper roll with dryer sheets then switch for a Gatorade empty bottle and fill it with a bunch of dryer sheets it both works, but 1 its too bulky and the other well its paper so it runs out quickly soooo I looked for something a little nicer looking thing and of course smaller but same effectiveness... And found this smoke buddy 1- it does works 2-we still use the dryer sheets in it (for longer lifetime of happiness) 3-house doesnt smell like weed yay!!! 4- and its a nicer looking smoke trapper

Literally my new favorite thing. This is so much better than shoving laundry fabric softeners in a bottle or a paper towel roll haha... This is the real deal. No more lingering smoke to annoy guests, neighbors, or the cat! This guy is smaller than I thought, its about the size of a avocado, which was much better in my opinion. Saw a few comments about it being slippery... What are you trying to use this thing after you just spanked the monkey? Ridiculous...haha. Everything about this product rocks... I cannot attest to how long one lasts, but I will update when I can. So far I plan on getting many more for myself, for the car, different rooms... Also going to be great for gifts. Lots more of these to be purchased for Christmas giveaway this year. ONLY CON TO THIS PRODUCT: it is hard to create a tight seal when putting your lips inside the device. I find that if I dont want odor or smoke, I need to insert the device and create the seal on the outside. This feels and looks quite strange as the opening is fairly large. The only thing I would suggest about this product is to have and optional attachment where the mouthpiece taper more like a funnel for those who do no care about its portability factor. Example being right now I only use in my house, so the extra few inches it might add to the device would not be an issue. Its possible that tapering too much would restrict enough air flow to make it easy to blow through , but something a tad bit smaller on the mouthpiece end would be nice as an optional attachment. I have more colors in the car was just to lazy to go over there..as well as randomly placed around the house. Doesnt hide the smell but it doesnt linger but the point isnt the smell its the smoke.. It comes with lids. Totally worth the $$$
