Greater than one weekI feel like I would not buy this again long term just to how much waste this makes if I am replacing it every few months. Otherwise It works well - I can smoke my weed pen inside without anyone else knowing. It is also nice for when I am in public areas where I want to be considerate of others. 8/10 product, minus 2 for the amount of landfill waste this generates when your filter is used up.

Greater than one weekDont listen to the bad reviews... Its almost funny to read these bad comments. I have had about 5 or 6 of these miracle things! I only had a problem with one of them that came cracked and charcoal coming out. Probably got damaged in shipping. These things last a long time! Some times up to 1 year even under heavy use. What I have found is that eventually moisture gets trapped in there and that over (long) time kill the life of the product. Ive seen people put it in the microwave to resolve that issue but from my experience it doesnt help much and it could just ruin it completely. What I recommend to get the most life out of your smoke buddy is when not in use, put common silica packets inside where you blow smoke and cap it. I wish this product was invented a few years back when I really needed to be stealthy. Hope this helps!

> 3 dayI got this for when I am visiting family or places that do not allow Vaping inside. This device allows me to blow into it and removes the large vape cloud so it can be easily hidden. It works.

> 3 dayI just bought my SECOND one, same item & seller! THIS is an AMAZING product! No matter what you exhale into it... almost NOTHING comes out and what little does has NO smell whatsoever! I am impressed totally! Im going to buy one of these for each of my friends for Christmas! A great gift for any kind of smoker! I actually used a hot glue gun to connect my old one to my new one, using my OLD one first. I added a toilet paper tube & stuffed it with used fabric softener sheets to the front/intake. :~) After checking for leaks, i have confirmed that almost nothing recognizable smelling comes out no matter what you exhale into it. When I buy a third one, Ill add it to the bottom of the stack! :~) I recommend the product and seller! I paid full advertised price and received nothing for this review. PS - You can tell how used it is by shaking it close to your ear. After more use the charcoal pieces dont sound as loose. Just an FYI.

> 3 dayLiterally my new favorite thing. This is so much better than shoving laundry fabric softeners in a bottle or a paper towel roll haha... This is the real deal. No more lingering smoke to annoy guests, neighbors, or the cat! This guy is smaller than I thought, its about the size of a avocado, which was much better in my opinion. Saw a few comments about it being slippery... What are you trying to use this thing after you just spanked the monkey? Ridiculous...haha. Everything about this product rocks... I cannot attest to how long one lasts, but I will update when I can. So far I plan on getting many more for myself, for the car, different rooms... Also going to be great for gifts. Lots more of these to be purchased for Christmas giveaway this year. ONLY CON TO THIS PRODUCT: it is hard to create a tight seal when putting your lips inside the device. I find that if I dont want odor or smoke, I need to insert the device and create the seal on the outside. This feels and looks quite strange as the opening is fairly large. The only thing I would suggest about this product is to have and optional attachment where the mouthpiece taper more like a funnel for those who do no care about its portability factor. Example being right now I only use in my house, so the extra few inches it might add to the device would not be an issue. Its possible that tapering too much would restrict enough air flow to make it easy to blow through , but something a tad bit smaller on the mouthpiece end would be nice as an optional attachment. Thanks Smoke Buddy!

> 3 dayI usually smoke at home or in the office. My old setup for getting smoke out was to take a rectangular piece of plexiglass and have a cutout in it to fit my little 6 inch desk fan and use it as a window fan. I got one in my office, and one at home. This works, but still fills the room with the smell of burnt tobacco. Just got the smokebuddy and decided to have a long 2hr smoke. What I had was a Gurkha 7x52 cigar. Heres the pros & cons: PROS: - lightweight - small - gets rid of most of the burnt tobacco odor. - comes with caps. Id imagine after using it many times, itd start to smell, the caps will keep the smells contained. CONS: - you need to use your face to make a tight seal on the smokebuddy, or else smoke will leak. - gotta blow hard, as if you are trying to inflate an air mattress with your lungs. - I got really lightheaded after taking a few exhales through the smokebuddy, not even 1/3 of the way into my smoke, and I was quite nauseous from blowing so hard on the smokebuddy to get it to filter out all the smoke. - filter can not be replaced. once its clogged, you need to buy a new one. Thing for the company to improve on: - have an o-ring/gasket on the exhale end aka where you put you mouth in end - have a looser pack of filter material, can be a thicker pack, just not as tight - change the product so itll take exchangeable cartridges, Id rather small packs of filters than $20 smokebuddies one after another. ======= Overall, for the price, its worth the buy. Ill still be using my fan setup because the smokebuddy does not take care of all the smoke, and the occasional leak from not shoving my face against it. Blowing through this thing, is really annoying, and I stopped using it all together half-way into my 7 cigar. I wasnt getting lightheaded from the nicotine, but instead from the smoke filter. It works, but needs improvements.

> 3 dayThey do work, they dont last very long, maybe a month if most of youre smoking involves the Smokebuddy. For me I only use it at night, Im the only one who uses and I probably smoke 2-4 bowls before packing it away and I go through 1 in perhaps 2 months. Youll know when its used up because the Smokebuddy will no longer hold the smoke inside. I use this product in conjunction with other methods like, opening the window, positioning a fan toward the window, and of course putting a rolled up towel under the door. My roommates have never once mentioned my smoking and my room doesnt have the tell-tale skunky aroma. Just an FYI though, this product is innefective if you smoke a joint or blunt. Obviously.

> 3 dayCant exhale smoke and let on your smoking? Or smoking around an asthmatic friend? Exhale into this filter to nearly eliminate second hand smoke in the air around you.. I use it indoors when smoking my medical MJ, so my room doesnt smell skunky.. For a daily smoker like myself, this lasts about 6 months..

> 3 dayIf there was directions to wash out or if it was a little cheaper it would be worth the money, but having to buy one every 3-4 months at $18 is a little pricey. If only it were about $13.99 or had an option to buy 2 for $25-30. Otherwise, works well for how long it does work. perfect to buy and go to a hotel or something similar.
