Our Smoke Buddies DEFINITELY get put through the wringer. We are daily users and were a bit worried buying the SB off of Amazon instead of in-store, because of occasional counterfeit/damaged/used items. Turns out that the product is legit and lasted the same amount of time (usually 1-2 weeks) before needing to give it a break (smoke seeping through.) I’d say buying the SB from Amazon is definitely a better option than going in person, the prices are usually jacked up in smoke shops.

Ive tried pretty much all of the personal air filters on offer from reputable retailers on Amazon and Smoke Buddys product is simply the best option. Like any filter, it only has a certain lifespan and that will be reduced if youre a heavy smoker. That being said Smoke Buddys filter has the best longevity of those Ive tried, not to mention performs among the best at actually neutralizing odors and reducing visible smoke exhaust. The biggest complaint Ive heard is that this product doesnt compare well to homemade alternatives produced much cheaper. I cant argue with those complaints from a value perspective, but I happily purchase the Smoke Buddy because it looks a little more subtle than a toilet paper roll and is exceptionally effective at eliminating odors. If you want to maximize the life of your personal air filter, there is an empty chamber at the top of the filter that can easily be stuffed with a dryer sheet or even extra cheap surgical masks people may have lying around. You can essentially make a budget prefilter that in my experience multiplies the life of your Smoke Buddy by a factor of 3-4x.

I have purchased many of the smoke buddies and other options. HANDS down, the best product is this bigger smoke buddies. I have one that is a few years old and it still works. (Needed two) The fun pic makes it so fun to use. Very durable and long lasting. Small version is not going to keep up w/moisture build up (actual issue for all buddies.)

I had doubts,however this thing works great.Way way way better than tissue roll and dryer sheets.I also burn scented wax melts.So there is no smell at all.

After using a Smokebuddy Junior for years and it working perfectly, I thought Id just move up to a regular full size one. But it doesnt work as well for me. The mouth hole is pretty big, I have a hard time making a seal, I dont have a very big mouth. The area between the mouth hole and the filter is 1.25 with a diameter of 2.5 - its a pretty large area, so when you exhale through it, once you get to the end of the exhale and sit it down, the volume of that area is still full of unfiltered smoke that sort of drifts out and is still enough to smell. I have tried to take hits where I inhale the smoke and then remember to inhale regular air afterward, so that when I blow through it, the last of my exhale is just air, but it doesnt seem to work that way, it all blends together inside your lungs. I didnt have these issues with the Smokebuddy Junior. The empty area outside the filter was much smaller and so was the mouth hole. So I spent more on this one but use it less. Should have stuck to the smaller one.

Purchased for stealth smoking and to avoid irritating others with strong-smelling smoke. Originally I considered the travel version but after reading reviews went with the original and Im glad I did! Its already a pretty small size and fits easily in my purse (though if youre a small purse person, Idk if this or the travel version would work for you or not). And since youre wondering: yes, IT WORKS! Both my husband and myself were impressed at how effective this was at diffusing smoke and eliminating smell. Very little scent/smoke lingers which is very important if youre an indoor or stealth smoker. It works MUCH better than the homemade versions and the price is right. All that remained is what was coming off of the pipe itself. I really cant believe weve gone years without this as we certainly plan to purchase more. Tips: - Shout out to Amazon Customer review on 8/17/16 for this tip: Pair it with some cotton balls on the inside to catch the nasty brown resin and it will last you 4x longer than expected without clogging the filter. - Be sure to put the lids back on when youre finished to preserve your Smoke Buddy. Leaving 4/5 stars for now -- will add a 5th star if it earns it after more use. (We dont use it at home much).

This product is a great product! It allows me to smoke without the lingering scent that typically leads to complaints from neighbors (I live in an apartment complex). They’re great at eliminating any smoke and any bit of a lingering scent is very easy to clear up and not strong at all. I smoke daily so on average I’d say they last about a month-month and 1/2. They mask the scent less as the filter begins to go out so it’s pretty easy to tell when it’s time for a replacement. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to smoke indoors without lingering smoke/scent.

I believe it really helps with scent and smoke reduction but don’t go and think you can use it in your room without people in your house still noticing. The presence and source of the smell will always reek and fill the space. I’d say they last few months with daily moderate use.

Good quality, long lasting, the packaging is discreet. Really makes all the smoke disappear
