On my second one the first one saved my camper when a transformer shorted out. Wouldn’t camp with out it. Even use it when hooked up at home.

Surges havent been a problem for us, that we know of, but the wiring fault indicators have been useful to let us know when there are pedestal issues before we have problems and have to troubleshoot our own equipment. A must-have for RVs.

You will be wishing you had this if you get a surge and it ruins your RV

I plug in the surge protector the first thing I do when I get into the camp site. So far I have had no problems with camp site pedestal boxes but theres always that chance. I would never be with out one. A great product to protect your RV investment.

Have not used yet, but looking forward to using it very soon.

So far I’ve plugged into two separate campgrounds in their wiring was wrong. This is very easy to use plug it in and look for green lights. I would never plug my RV in without using this or some other form of surge protector!

OK first of I love Amazon . In no way do I fault them for this. I received this surge protector plug it in went about my business of hooking up sewer lines , water . Went back in our RV and was ingulfed in smoke . Smoke was coming out of our recptecals and out of a computer surge protector which was on fire. Our electric fireplace control board fried up . Went back outside to check the pedestal were the surge protector was plug in I decided to unplug and try without this plug in and everything work fine except fireplace. So much for this surge protector taking on a surge. I have contacted the company but have heard nothing back yet. Had the RV park tech check voltage at the pedestal and checked out fine They said no one has had a problem with this . So he thinks the surge protector was faulty. I have read other reviews and they all sound good , this is why we purchased this model. Just hoping this does not happen to anyone else. Also hoping to hear from manufacture what could of caused this.

Trash it didnt at work it was defective then seller funded $45 half what I paid. beware not good people
