> 3 dayWell worth the price. If youre a windows user dont waste your time trying to get their migration software from their website. They partner with someone who pulled the resource sonyou wont find it. Their packaging needs updating so thats why I deducted 1 star. Search reflect 8 for good free software. Me as a linux user, quick & easy. Everything worked fast. Gparted or DD works fine.

02-06-2025Silicon Power is LITERALLY the ONLY brand I buy. Why? When I used to work at my last Computer Repair Shop, I would see LOTS of Hard Drives coming in for upgrade/cloning over to SSD. What I also saw was that there were a lot of these off-brand SSDs that customers would buy from who knows where, and sure enough, they typically failed at about an 80% fail rate of at least the first attempt of cloning/migrating over the OS from the HD to the SSD. What brand, didnt fail? The only brand I ever had not to fail on the first migration/cloning attempt was Silicon Power (SP). The cool thing about SP is that they have great deals usually, so the price is never a concern when Im shopping for another SSD. Also, they hook you with FREE software to take care of your cloning/data transfer needs. Just register the SSD drive on their website located on the back of the packaging. Enter the code they ask you for and boom! You get the download link. I would Highly Recommend Silicon Power. Hope this helps someone make up their mind that may be shopping for a new SSD drive, whether you are upgrading or just adding to your setup....Go With Silicon Power!

> 3 dayBought this to clone a laptops HDD (5400rmp). Cloning went of without a hitch and I easily rebooted the laptop with the clone. The laptop is very fast now and the user couldnt be happier.

> 3 dayReading is fast, but writing is different from MX500. I wanted to get this as a temp storage and mainly for reading. If you need a cheap SSD, this may serve you. If you need constant reading and writing, get a Crucial or WD.

> 3 dayThe drive itself seems pretty good especially for the price. My only complaint thus far is there are no mounting screws provided. How much would it cost them to include 4 mounting screws. 85 cents?

> 3 dayI put the SSD into my Xbox 360. The drive fits into the plastic case that then attaches to the side of the console. I installed a reset glitch hack onto this console a while back. So now I have more storage and everything loads very fast. Makes absolutely no noise. The disc drives on these old consoles are going bad more and more over time so Im happy that I can backup my game discs onto the SSD. I just wanted to post this review for anybody wondering if the SSD will work in an RGH. It does. You just put it in and go to the dashboard and hit format. My console is a 2009 jasper. You dont really need an SSD for the 360 but the price was good. Photo is the drive showing up on aurora dashboard. If you dont have an RGH/JTAG you need to use the Microsoft brand drives.
