SP 1tb is great for online gaming and iv been use using it for gaming offline and online gaming and a bit of video editing and its working great. the storage space can fit a hand full of movie and a hand full of AAA games will still being able you to play music in the background and large file transfer. so id recommend the SP 1tb SSD to gamers streamers and even for work with large file transfer work.

It seems to work fine for a PS4, but truth be told, some of the other critical reviews have it right. It can bottom out, especially on the write speed. I used Borderlands 3, with all DLC, as a benchmark. The boot time when starting the game with a mechanical hard drive used to be get up and make yourself a sandwich level of load time. Easily a 7+ minute experience - with this, its about 3.5 minutes. However, downloading and installing games? Woof, that was a chore. In a PS4 Pro, on a reliably fast internet connection, downloading a 60 Gb game took 6 hours. And seeing as the internet speed test showed 100mbs download speed... It wasnt the internet causing the bottleneck. Its a decent budget option.

So my 2TB HDD was faithful, but short lived. About 3 years. It died. Thankfully I had it backed up and bought this SSD. I transferred the data to this SSD and connected back to my computer and all is now fine in my little SSD drive. Great price and it really has 2TB of storage (except for the address being reserved)

I am trying this out in one of my older laptops. Very affordable and practical. It is 2 to in size which replaced my spinningv2tb drive with it. If the quality is good I will replace others with it as well.

The drive itself seems pretty good especially for the price. My only complaint thus far is there are no mounting screws provided. How much would it cost them to include 4 mounting screws. 85 cents?
