Its an SSD. Not a particularly fast one because of its sata interface, but I needed it for modding an Xbox 360. Does speed really matter? Probably not, and the things been working fine, so 5 stars it is. One thing though, if youre modding a phat xbox 360, then youll need some sort of space to make it work in the hard drive enclosure.

It isnt the best performing thing out there, but it sure is a heck of a lot better than the HDD it replaced. Would recommend this brand if you need quick and cheap SSDs that are likely to perform acceptably.

I bought this as a replacement for a 1TB mechanical drive I had on my DIY NAS. So far so good. No problems with BTRFS and it remains powered 24/7.

Excellent deal at that low price!

Used this to upgrade my old iMac and so far so good. A good performance boost from the old HDD.

I chose this SSD for a home security camera recordings, to keep the computer as quiet as possible and lower the power consumption on a 24-hour device. At this price point and with a 1000 TBW, there is no reason to worry about wearing it out with recording overwrites, by the time it dies I will either need a new PC, or another storage technology will be available. It is very fast for the intended use, scrolling through video recordings is instantaneous and smooth. Highly recommend.
