beware, no hardware with this specail speeco. The collar to make it fit smaller gates is not include nor are the 2 carriage bolts. Other models on Amazon contain that hardware.

Good lock for a larger gate. This is a good farm type lock for a driveway. If you are putting in a smaller gate, get the smaller size.

Anyway, the little one, Pedro (check him out on facebook/pedroandco) is the smart one and figured out how to get the chained closed gate opened. So, I set a new post and installed this. Sorry Pedro, Im not sorry. Gotta supervise that ass when hijinks ensue, cant have em getting out and this latch does just that.

I am a fence installer and I have installed probably hundreds of tubular Farm Gates. These latches are an absolute game-changer compared to the traditional throw over chain latches. These are worth every penny.

Bought a few of these to latch gates for our animals. They work well you just have to make sure that the gate is in the middle of the latch so nothing gets in or out. Like that the gate can open either way.

These gate openers allow a pipe gate to be opened in either direction, which is very handy when working with horses or mowing. They are easy to install. There is a hole for a padlock if you want the gate to be secured.
