GREAT product. Literally put it on every gate possible. Only trick is to make sure theres enough room to make sure the latch mechanism to catch properly.

This was a great buy. It is solid and works well to open the gate either way, and to lock.

Weve got 5 donkeys. Theyre mischievous little b@stards. I mean downright ornery. Anyway, the little one, Pedro (check him out on facebook/pedroandco) is the smart one and figured out how to get the chained closed gate opened. So, I set a new post and installed this. Sorry Pedro, Im not sorry. Gotta supervise that ass when hijinks ensue, cant have em getting out and this latch does just that.

This is just what we needed. Easy one handed operation. Solidly built. Lockable. I have two, and will buy more when I expand the fences.

Never owned this item before, but was easy to install, very sturdy, and they work very well.

This is a well-made and functional gate latch. We use these on interior gates and they function flawlessly. You can securely close the gate without fumbling with a chain. It supports the weight of the gate when closed. Swings both ways. Simple one-handed operation. Livestock proof. Mounted easily on my tube-style gates.

Mine was a pretty tight fit so I had to tap it into place, which is fine, I expected that. But when I did, the coating chipped off. I barely tapped it.

Product worked as required. We have large gates on the property and we wanted to use a lock through the holes that match up on the two parts and that worked well.
