Bought this for a printmaking class I was taking last semester. I ended up really liking linocutting so I bought this for myself considering this is the kind we were using at school. I love the little storage compartment it has on the handle and all the different sized blades it comes with. It’s great for anyone wanting to start out without spending a ton on a better set. Mine started rust a bit after only a few month but it still cuts just fine.

i had no problem using these for linoleum blocks a few years ago in my printmaking class, but almost let the negative reviews here talk me out of buying it... thankfully its as good as i remember. only wish there was an even finer tip

It’s ok, but, not great! Blades are dull compared to the Flexcut tools which slide like going through butter. This set required more effort. So, I find myself using it less. Not a precision built design. The blade comes loose repeatedly and requires tightening too often! Over tightening can jam the blade making it very hard to release. Too frustrating to use this much. I only keep it as a backup.

If your into making rubber stamps with lots of details then this tool is a must. I tried carving rubber stamps without using this tool, but it takes a lot longer without this tool to get a lot of material off the rubber. I found out this tool came in handing for a beginner like myself. Im shire Ill find other uses for this carving tool because Im a arts and craftsmen.

I use this linoleum cutter for pumpkin carving so I can get some final details in. Very easy to use. The cutters are very sharp so be sure to use with care

There isn’t much to this cutter, but it does what I want. Price was reasonable for someone just starting out. Easy to hold and operate. The blades get stuck and you have to finesse them out when changing them, but otherwise a good little tool.

The best tool for beginners. Light weight and easy to use. You will love it.

I dont use it much because I havent felt a need to use it for anything more than my initial urge to want to make my own stamps. Havent tried other cutter sets to compare but I like it. It is fairly easy for me to use and I know I wont lose any of the blades because of the way its designed. Some might not like that its plastic? But I dont mind. I think I may prefer it because its light. Some might find the grip difficult this it is a bit thick if you like more of a pencil/pen/exacto knife feel for more control?

After reading some of the reviews, I inticipated this cutter set to not work that great. But, all the pieces came totally straight and quite sharp, as compared to my similar but no-brand set purchased at an art supply store. For how cheap it is, I cannot complain. Note that Ive only tested this on the softer pink style rubber blocks, not actual linoleum up until this point. But the tools are way sharper than my other kit, which did okay with linoleum.
