Speedball Linoleum Cutter Kit Assortment #1 - Linocut Carving Tools for Block Printing, Includes 5 Blades

I have a minor issue with the different cutters. They were not so easy to change because from time to time they got stuck and I had to disarm it. However, is smooth to use. It cuts very well. KUDOS to the storage at the end for the cutters. I got cut a couple of times, so be careful because it is very sharp. Just with these 5 cutters you can get very defined craving. Overall, good purchase.

An amazing tool made by a wonderful company. Slightly more expensive than the horrible tool you get from hobby lobby, but endlessly better.

Box was a bit crumpled when it arrived- wasnt packages very well. But its a hard plastic tool its durable. That was my only complaint, since I was planning to store it in the box but now it doesnt stay closed.

Wrote a big review but Amazon refreshed and I’m too annoyed to rewrite it. More or less, I had a previous speedball cutter that came with different attachments and none of them were good for smaller details. So I bought this one since it came with a smaller nib or whatver it’s called and honestly it’s been working pretty good, happy with it n all that

This was exactly what I needed for a craft project. It has several heads to choose from, it easy to use and was a good price. My only issue with this was there were NO instructions on how to put the heads on. I struggled with trying to figure out how to make it work. Luckily my boyfriend was able to figure it out for me, but they should really include instructions.

The first blade was stuck in the device and was really hard to dislodge. Haven’t used it since.

I got this to try and carve out the foam of a craft pumpkin so light would shine through without actually cutting through it. Not sure if the foam cured itself after I got the outside off, or if this thing is just super dull, but it didnt do what I needed it to do. Im sure it works for its intended purpose.

After reading some of the reviews, I inticipated this cutter set to not work that great. But, all the pieces came totally straight and quite sharp, as compared to my similar but no-brand set purchased at an art supply store. For how cheap it is, I cannot complain. Note that Ive only tested this on the softer pink style rubber blocks, not actual linoleum up until this point. But the tools are way sharper than my other kit, which did okay with linoleum.

It’s so low quality that it can’t grip its own blades or gets indefinitely stuck. I bought once and it fell apart in the first use. Bought another an it fell apart in the first use. The price is tempting but you will pay more in the long run. Not usable for even practice because it becomes unusable so quickly

Once you get the right tip secured, this works great! The problem I had was that there were no instructions included for how to swap the tips out and secure them. It is just a matter of trial and error which was sometimes a frustrating process. Once the tip was secured, this tool performed as expected and I was very satisfied with its performance.
