Whee! Around and around we go! My hubby bought me this because he was tired of helping wind yard into pancake balls. (He did that ONCE and asked me if this was FUN?) This goes together easy, spins easily, the dowels are movable so they can fit the size of the hank, and I have to wind faster on the ball winder to keep up with the spin of this thing! So much fun! The box it comes in makes it easy to store because its tall and skinny so easily fits behind a chair or table. This was a great purchase for me.

I purchased this model in April of 2017 and almost 3 years later it is still a workhorse. I chose this over an umbrella style swift because it would take up less room when not in use. It is awesome, it has measurements in inches near each peg hole so you can easily figure out how many yards your hank of yarn is. I marked one peg with bright tape so I could count how many wraps I had on it, then I do a little math and I know how many yards I have. An umbrella swift doesn’t give you this option.

I wanted a swift that was easy to set up and easy to store between uses. This one is all that and more. With the ability to change the circumference for the yarn it works for all sizes of skeins. It is a great design.

Love this swift. Super easy to put together and use. But it does seem a bit flimsy for the money. Also it isnt finished.

This swift is a pleasure to use, and so simple and easy. Its very well crafted and will last a lifetime. It stores quite compactly in its box when not in use.

This is a great product. Extremely simple to put together and take apart. With the ball winder that I also bought I was able to wind off 9 skeins in about 30 minutes. No snagging, dowels didnt loosen. I couldnt be happier.

Perfect for hand winding my specialty yarns. Very easy to setup, easy to take apart and not too big for storage when not in use. I havent had any issues with it when using it on my small table in my living room. It spins easily with no drag or hang up. I highly recommend this yarn swift.

Im not sure what I expected, but the package that arrived surprised me with the smallish footprint. Not only is it easy to use, it even stores readily!
