This wooden yarn swift works wonderfully! I appreciate that I can easily take it apart and put it in the box for storage, and put it back together in less than a minute. This has easily become one of my favorite tools and is so easy to use. I love that it is adjustable for any size skein and moves quickly with no noise as I wind my yarn into cakes. Simple and easy to use. Well made and peg holes marked for different sizes of skeins. This one should come up in searches as no. 1. Not hurried after the armed umbrella like contraptions. Fine craftsmanship.

I was looking for a swift and found this one. I read the reviews and decided to try it. It is so easy to use and easy to fold up and put in the closet. I would recommend this swift over all the others that I looked at. Worth every penny.

I am a novice at using a swift. I find this swift easy to use. It is easy to put together and take apart. The pegs are easily adjusted to provide proper tension. The swift spins easily and smoothly. I am very happy with my swift.

This yarn swift is very well made and very simple to operate. It is perfect for winding skeins into a ball. Love it!

I purchased this model in April of 2017 and almost 3 years later it is still a workhorse. I chose this over an umbrella style swift because it would take up less room when not in use. It is awesome, it has measurements in inches near each peg hole so you can easily figure out how many yards your hank of yarn is. I marked one peg with bright tape so I could count how many wraps I had on it, then I do a little math and I know how many yards I have. An umbrella swift doesn’t give you this option.

Whee! Around and around we go! My hubby bought me this because he was tired of helping wind yard into pancake balls. (He did that ONCE and asked me if this was FUN?) This goes together easy, spins easily, the dowels are movable so they can fit the size of the hank, and I have to wind faster on the ball winder to keep up with the spin of this thing! So much fun! The box it comes in makes it easy to store because its tall and skinny so easily fits behind a chair or table. This was a great purchase for me.
