This is a good product for home use. Loading the yarn is a little slower than the more expensive models but works well.

This swift is so simple to set up and stores in its original box that takes up so little space you might just wonder where is the box? I have used this to wind up my stash of yarn - hanks and skeins. (I do both so that I have a feel for the yarn - knots? chunky areas where a new color was worked in?. I know what condition the yarn is in.)

I ordered this as a package with the Stanwood YBW-A Yarn Ball Winder and am very pleased with both products. I have two yarn/needlepoint stores in my hometown but they dont always have the yarns I need for a project so I order online. If the yarn comes in a hank it has to be wound to be useable and not turn into a tangled mess (Ive been there!) I tried using a passing family member to hold my yarn while I wind for a project, but thats hardly quick and convenient for either of us! This product works wonderfully and comes apart quickly for storage. Very easy to use and highly recommended.

Stanwood. That says it all. Stores easily. Assembly fast and simple. Got it on sale for under 40 dollars. Bought one for my daughter also. Highly recommend. Did not buy umbrella swift as no place to attach it

This is a great way to hold the skein for winding. It packs away easily and will last forever. Very handy item. Will last longer than some of the umbrella swifts.
