> 3 dayIts a nice little rack to mount in your basement or in a wiring closet at an office (provided your switches are less than 12 inches deep). Its pretty sturdy for what it is. I have a Dell Powerconnect 5324 switch, a shelf with a DSL modem/router combo and a NAS, a patch panel, and a cable management bar. It has four mounting points on the back, so you can screw it right onto a piece of ply wood mounted into the wall (which is what I did), or into a couple studs, or whatever you want. The only reason Im deducting a star is because the cage nuts are a pain and the screws use an allen wrench (I would have preferred Phillips screws). In summary, its a nice, sturdy rack for the price. Just make sure you have cage nuts in addition to screws and make sure your equipment is less than 12 inches deep. UPDATE: This thing is very strong! I was a bit nervous, but I put a UPS that weighs about 20lbs in it and its holding it fine.

> 3 dayThe rack itself is very good. Easy to mount to the wall. Once mounted, it is very sturdy. I would have given it 5 stars, but while they do provide hardware to mount some of your devices in the rack. There was not enough to fill the entire thing with all of my equipment. So I have my patch panel, TPlink port, and cyber power surge protector secured in the rack, but I couldnt mount my TPlink PoE port for my security cameras. It would be 5 stars all day if the proper amount of mounting hardware was included.

20-11-2024I was expecting a fairly flimsy frame that would only be stiffened by the racks bolted on. Nope. Very well made My only complaint was the screw holes (the larger pass through part) was smaller than the screws. I ended up grinding the screw heads down to fit through the holes to avoid having to hold the well made and heavy frame to the wall while screwing into the wall. Still, well made and happy with my purchase.

Greater than one weekWell made and easy to install. They include a paper template but...just hold it up to the wall and mark. It includes holes 16 OC, so perfect for 2x4 construction if you have flexibility in your placement to align with the studs. If not, there arent extra holes like most TV mounts which is disappointing. You can always drill through the back. Includes square bracket nuts and matching screws, but not for all 8U positions. I think 6 were included which is more than sufficient for my needs and you can always buy more. The bar going across the top blocks the midpoint of the top 1U. Not a big deal if youre putting a patch panel there. You can also move it to the bottom (dont flip the rack or the ground attach point will be on top).

Greater than one weekSeems like a decent deal. Be aware, do not use the screw assembly the send! They do not stay in the square holes, they pop out the back, then if you w as nt yo ever remove the unit from the rack, the screa strips into the nut assembly then you cant get it out. I even tried vise grips to grab the nut from the backside, it was impossible to grab the nut, too tight of space. I tried everything. But eventually, the ears on my dbx compressor took too much stress and broke off. Huge loss for a nut that probably only cost a penny. Anyways, buy aftermarket assemblies before screwing in your units....

> 3 daySo the material is pretty sturdy like most people have said but not sure it was mentioned anywhere it only comes with 12 screws for a 6u case so unless your mounting things that only require one screw per side you will come up 12 screws short so pick up some M6 cabinet hardware. Also there is a cross bar in the top of the shelf so the top 1u is best used for a patch panel of something super small.

> 3 dayThe product is sturdy and easy to install but openings in the back could be bigger. trying to fit 37 cat6a cables to a 48 port patch panel took some dremel work to modify opening to accommodate for cable management. perhaps some punch through similar to what an electrical circuit breaker box has to easily provide for more access for additional cables? but overall great product for price but could easily see myself paying a little extra for added conveniences of install.

> 3 dayNeeded to replace a wall mounted amp and this worked perfect with the rack mounted amp that replaced it!
