> 3 dayI had another, bigger rack that was sticking out too far in my basement storage room. This one has sides on it, where the other rack was wide open. The only holding it back from 5 stars is the price. Its a piece of formed/bent metal with holes in the front for your switches and patch panels. It might cost $40 to actually make it.

Greater than one weekI purchased this with the 1u rack, a power supply, cable management, 24 port cat panel, 24 POE switch, and two modem lines into one (Peplink) for my home network. That rack holds my two DSL modems, Unifi Dream Machine (not pro), my Pi4 with two external hard drives. Well worth the money. I had to put the support brace on the bottom and flip it around to make use of all my space. Honestly, I dont think the brace is even needed, but thats what I did to not have floating pieces and get the full use.

> 3 dayBought this for the new house as all our wiring goes to the basement. Was able to install this easily and added some shelving (1U 10 inches deep) for the other networking devices. Keeps things clean and easy to use. After installation and adding the shelves I removed the cross beam on the top as I needed the space and it didnt change the structure at all. Cable organization isnt great with this device but its in the corner in the basement and zip ties are your friend!

> 3 dayMy first rack and Im super happy. For whatever reason I just wanted walls on the sides, this delivered. I have no idea what the top bar is though? Super sturdy feeling and it doesnt seem it will get scratched up. Get your own rack nuts because all free ones are meh, I expected this though. I built the wood shelving around it. Found out my walls are brutally concave. Without the curve it would have been 20 in and the rack would be so snug. I basically researched every other option on Amazon and this one seemed the best bang for my buck.

> 3 dayI was pleasantly surprised by this rack. Frankly I expected something more flimsy based on a couple other reviews, but its actually nicely made and quite sturdy especially when you put in a few components. I have not mounted it on the wall just yet - but I expect that to go easily. Pros: - Sturdy - Powder coat finish - even. No sharp edges. Cons: - Only comes with (12) M6 screws/nuts which basically gives you 3 components you can mount in this rack. I would have at least put 20 or 24 because you are likely to fill it up completely and not a large cost over all (perhaps a few pennies?). Plan to get a few more screw/nuts if you have more than 3 items going in this rack. There are a few options on amazon (unfortunately most come in a 25 or 50 pack ... and are silver not black ... at least that I could find). I bought this for managing the nerve center on my new house still under construction ... so it will house my modem, router, a switch, NAS, power strip, patch panel and with a bit of room for a 1U NAS/Server down the road - tbd. Will update after the install but expect this to be a winner.

Greater than one weekIts a nice little rack to mount in your basement or in a wiring closet at an office (provided your switches are less than 12 inches deep). Its pretty sturdy for what it is. I have a Dell Powerconnect 5324 switch, a shelf with a DSL modem/router combo and a NAS, a patch panel, and a cable management bar. It has four mounting points on the back, so you can screw it right onto a piece of ply wood mounted into the wall (which is what I did), or into a couple studs, or whatever you want. The only reason Im deducting a star is because the cage nuts are a pain and the screws use an allen wrench (I would have preferred Phillips screws). In summary, its a nice, sturdy rack for the price. Just make sure you have cage nuts in addition to screws and make sure your equipment is less than 12 inches deep. UPDATE: This thing is very strong! I was a bit nervous, but I put a UPS that weighs about 20lbs in it and its holding it fine.

> 3 dayI love almost everything about this rack. Not too big, not too small, feels sturdy, looks good. Using this for a home network with LAN drops in every room. The open design worked well for my purposes. My biggest issue was the mounting itself. First on that, it does come with M5 (not M6 as described) cage nuts and bolts. I was mounting this to some open studs by myself which is always a little awkward. Anyhow, the provided wood screws’ heads were exactly the same size as the holes in the back of the rack. This means that you can’t screw in the wood screws and place the rack over them and slide it in to place. You would HAVE to have someone else hold it in place while you screwed it in. I also managed to strip 3 out of the 6 provided so I went out a bought #10 x 1-1/2in screws to replace the originals. They worked perfectly. I was able to slide the rack right over the top of them which made the mounting take all but 10 minutes with 9/64 pilot holes. After it was mounted, everything is perfect and beautiful. Pros: Cost, value, aesthetics, size, prime delivery, relatively light weight, sturdy. Cons: Hardware (both M5 cage nuts which should have been M6 as well as the awful wood screws)

> 3 dayThe rack itself is very good. Easy to mount to the wall. Once mounted, it is very sturdy. I would have given it 5 stars, but while they do provide hardware to mount some of your devices in the rack. There was not enough to fill the entire thing with all of my equipment. So I have my patch panel, TPlink port, and cyber power surge protector secured in the rack, but I couldnt mount my TPlink PoE port for my security cameras. It would be 5 stars all day if the proper amount of mounting hardware was included.
