> 3 dayI doodle, watercolor, mixed media, glues, paints, lettering, drawing & all sorts of materials. I love this journal. For those who worry about bleeding through, I glue two pages together OR I use some scrap paper to back it. I bought two of these and will buy more great for all types of uses.

> 3 dayI had another of this exact same book from another source and the paper is slightly but noticeably thinner. My pen (mostly Uniball, which are heavier than ballpoint) shows through just a tad more, and scratches and bleeds a bit more on the grain. I realize this is a SKETCH level book with 60lb paper, its not actually meant for pen. I AM disappointed tho, that I went off my experience w the previous exact same book, which didnt bleed v much - I use it for writing, not drawing so a bit of show-through is fine - and did not receive a consistent product to that. This book doesnt appear to be fake, just that the company reduced the quality slightly. I would not buy this again, but I wanted a matching one for my previous book. SO, be aware that: 1) THIS IS NOT THE WEIGHT FOR PEN AND INK. You want Drawing or higher weight paper for that. Its a shame bc the Strathmore options greatly reduce the number of pages when you go up in weight. (I honestly would only need maybe a 5 lb improvement in this Sketch weight!) 2) The quality of the paper has clearly been reduced, between when I got my previous one about 6 mos ago from a different source (so possibly printed even longer ago) and this order, which Im assuming is the brand new one. Its thinner and less smooth than my last one. Boo!

> 3 dayIts worth it. On the label it says they are 100% cotton pages (I think) and they are bound very well. Unlike a lot of other non-ring sketchbooks I had in the past, this one was easy to open. The cover is so cool too! Its like leather but obviously synthetic. It is a hard cover. I have the Canson watercolor paper with the same lb and weight but this one buckles a lot less and absorbs the paint much better. Its also got a really nice smooth texture. 10/10 would recommend!

> 3 dayThe paper is very good I love it but the way the book is made on the inside is not like in the pictures. Its so close together and you cant open it completely which is lame because this paper is specifically made for artistical purposes...

> 3 dayVery sturdy and good Looking . There are versions that have a pen/pencil holder that one might consider more useful but I enjoy this version for its size and feel when keeping notes.

> 3 dayThe cover of this book is excellent quality. It feels and looks fantastic. The paper I found wanting. 60lb paper, for some reason, is different thicknesses even across this brand. This book has paper that feels thin and flimsy unfortunately. Its a big toothy as well. There ARE NOT 192 pages in this book. There are 96. Since paper is sold in single sheets, I fail to see why sketchbook sheets are counted as 2. Completely false advertising and product description. I bought this book specifically for its page count, ignoring the price, and Im very disappointed.
