> 3 dayI absolutely love Strathmore products and this one is no different. The paper is smooth and easy to blend on. It is a large sketchbook and great for drawing portraits and landscapes. Would highly recommend.

> 3 dayIt was unexpectedly dark. Close to paper bag color. It is tough to see pencil writing.

> 3 dayThinner than I thought to be honest and it looks like theres all kinds of white smudges on the back cover of the one I received that wont come off. Never buying again.

> 3 dayVery sturdy and good Looking . There are versions that have a pen/pencil holder that one might consider more useful but I enjoy this version for its size and feel when keeping notes.

Greater than one weekI like a lot of Strathmores products, but this isnt one of them. It is billed as sketch, and for pencil and ballpoint pen it seems fine. Anything else and it is pretty horrible. Even quickly writing with a brush pen or fountain pen spells trouble on this paper. Its beautifully bound and looks great, but if you want to do anything besides simply pencil, I would look elsewhere. Cansons Universal Sketch for instance can hold up to much (much much much) more than this paper can. Handling it, it seems very nice, but once you start using it, the paper doesnt seem like its the 60# its billed as.

> 3 dayI love these journals. I have a big hardbound journal as well as this for smaller projects. It takes water and paint like a charm too with hardly any warping of the page, and I can use both sides of these pages also. Some people might not be a fan of the texture of the paper though, sometimes it can be a little weird. But all in all, one of the best papers Ive tried.
