This book has a high quality hardcover with nice thick pages to use for any art medium you would choose.

I was disappointed in the quality of the paper. It was a bit waxy and this impeded the desired flow of my watercolors.

Its a beautiful sketchbook that is very fun to draw in with colored pencils as well as graphite and charcoal.

Really liked this book however I thought it was a little expensive comparing it with other companies but will definitely purchase another one in the future.

Strathmore 400 paper is the only NON Arches paper I use.

Best journal for wet media! Lays flat despite what others here claim!

I have never seen paper as thick as this, bound so well (sewed) and take wet media the way it does. This is a fantastic book and has now spoiled me for all other mixed media journals.
