Greater than one weekStrathmore is a great brand for journals, but this is my ultimate favorite because it is THIN and I travel with this everywhere.

> 3 dayFür mich persönlich ist das Aquarellpapier in diesem Strathmore das beste, welches ich bisher benutzt habe. Es ist wunderbar weich, nimmt Farbe gut auf und es lässt sich einfach sehr schön darauf aquarellieren. Das Mixed Media Art Journal ist jedoch sehr teuer für meinen Geschmack, also muss jeder selbst wissen, ob es ihnen die Qualität wert ist.

Greater than one weekI bought this based on the ratings by reviews from others. Not sure why this journal has such a high rating. I like the cover. Thats it. Nothing else to like. First of all, the journal does not open flat which is a huge annoyance. Second, the paper quality is awful. It has a very noticeable mechanical pattern and the watercolor (professional grade) behaves as on a very cheap paper. Third, the backside is much worse than the other making painting on both sides of the journal not a good option. I would not buy this again and would not recommend to anyone either.

> 3 dayThe quality of the paper is amazing, it is thick and copes well with watercolor and gouache. The cover of the scrapbook as well is good quality so you can keep your art for a long time.

> 3 dayI got this book at Michaels because I had a coupon. I love this paper and the hard cover is great to help protect the pages from being bent or rolled when traveling. Ive included a photo of what my prismacolor premier pencils (unblended) look like on the paper in case anyone is interested.
