Great paper for small projects!

I purchased this product along with the Amazon Basics colored pencils set. I was just looking to see if I liked colored pencils so I was on a budget. This product did the job! Took the color nicely, helped the colors blend well, and the paper itself is fairly sturdy!

I love this paper so much i draw a cupel drawings and the lead and ink went on nice and i like how the lead /grafate, i cant spell T.T back to the grafate it erase buteful. Uwu And my colerd pencil went well on the page

I wanted to practice colored pencil techniques for coloring book success. Ive wanted to learn for years. I find this pad to be adequate for my needs. With practice, in this small pad In sure that Ill progress.

As they say, paper does make a difference. I just purchased the expensive FB polychromes & tested on various sketch pads I have, and the paper does make a difference. If I used Strathmore mixed media, Canson reg. drawing pads, Bees super deluxe, this one absorbed the FB polys best. Never tried the rec Stonehedge b/c way too expensive, esp if u need paper sizes bigger than 9 x 12, so I like this choice better. If I was professional artist, than I wud go for the Stonehedge, but this is a hobby. And I like other mediums besides colored pencils, so I need other types of paper.

I do like this, very smooth, almost a vellum finish. I also use Stonehenge and Colourfix ( sanded) paper. The Stonehenge does feel softer, and it edges out the new Strathmore, in my opinion. But that is mostly because I am accustomed to it. Stonehenge also indents easily if your touch is not light enough. This make it the right choice if embossing prior to painting is your need ( I do with signature) For many many layers, nothing beats Colourfix. I havent piled layers on the Strathmore as yet.

Perfect for colored pencil work and very sturdy, so its possible to use liquids on it without a problem.
