Strathmore Colored Pencil Spiral Paper Pad 9X12-30 Sheets -62477900

Very great. Came just as expected.

I really like the Strathmore Colored Pencil paper. For several years I had been using their Bristol smooth for colored pencil drawing, having heard that was the paper for it. While it is ok, I couldnt get the results I had hoped for. Then I decided to take a class in colored pencil. Strathmore Colored Pencil paper was on the list of materials needed. WOW! Im doing so much better now. This paper takes many, many layers of pencil and blending is easier than with the Bristol. Its a very reasonably priced creamy color, 100-lb paper. I have the 9 x 12 pad and recently bought the 6 x 8 pad. They are both wire bound...and I am having so much fun now with my art. I highly recommend it.

This was purchased for me off my wishlist for a project Im working on. The notebook is great but it has some odd lines that run deep through the paper. Think running your nail on the page and coloring over it you would see the indentations. Overall I will make this work Im considering getting another.

I have tried this paper for the first time and it doesnt hold more than 3 layers of charcoal!!! I dont like that fact and the value is high for what it really is......

This isnt too bad and thankfully is on the edge of the pad, but you can definitely see and feel the dent on the paper.

Use it all the time for many purposes. Colored pencils mainly.

I use it mainly for drawing my favorite anime/manga characters and it has been better than any paper I have ever used before. It works great with the prismacolor colored pencils I have.

I think this paper is true to what it is which is great paper for colored pencils. It grabs the color and is great for layering. I only wish I had more of it.
