    Greater than one week

Works great. My only complaint is the wrap they make is only 11.63 wide. The machine will work with 12 but stretch tight only makes 11.63 wide for it

I also have bought this as gifts and everyone uses and likes it. Mine has moved with me from one home to another and another and if it were to disappear Id immediately get another one. So today I bought another one as a gift for a foodie that I work with. If you follow the instructions - pull the wrap out and over the container that will be covered, this works well. But if you just pull it off and plan to carry it to the bowl, it wont work. Then you might as well use the tear-off on the box that the wrap comes in. So the trick is to read the instructions and use it that way. There is a separate one for aluminum foil which I also have an also like. In fact, I use that more often as I use foil more often. That is called Wrap Master Foil. Later - Well, it looks like theres no longer a separate one for foil. I checked out the companys web site and it says that theyre out of stock but I think this is permanent. It looks like you can use the plastic wrap type for foil, too. I just checked the two out as I have both and the blades look the same.

I have always had trouble with plastic wrap, Im left handed and felt that might have something to do with the wrestling match I endured.Tried every brand, the heavy verses the thin, and heavy was better, but not good. Now that Im a senior citizen with arthritis in my hands plastic wrap was a nightmare. Im back to finding new uses for plastic wrap now that it is a dream to use with WrapN Snap dispenser. It does take up more space and does not fit in the spot I kept the box type in. I have left it on the counter and this has worked out better. Im using it more. I had gotten into the habit of using zip lock bags for items that a quick wrap would do. An example is taking medication on the go. Plastic wrapped pills in the pocket is better than a qt. bag in the pocket. When packing for a trip I used plastic wrap instead of bags for many items like an extra pair of shoes that may soil clean clothing do well wrapped, takes up less room than air filled bags.

The Problem: we buy stretch-tite wrap in the 750 square foot rolls which should last a long time in a two person household that works hard to avoid left overs but this results in the roll far outlasting the box it came in. Consequently much wrap gets wasted because of damaged carton that was a poor design in the first place. The Solution: the Wrap N Snap 7500 Dispenser stores and dispenses the roll. It keeps the roll from wrapping back on itself after cutting, provides three points to grab the wrap and make a clean cut with a press of the lid. Easy to keep clean, has a latching lid and store in about the same space as the cardboard box. Can be wall mounted (I didnt) and the feet are difficult to install--there will be excess rubber you will want to cut out before even trying--youll know what I mean when you get it. The dispenser appears well made and durable but then again that crappy cardboard contraption did not set the bar very high. If it doesnt outlast the roll inside I will update the review and dock some stars. The Experience: over-wrap, under-wrap--it doesnt matter. Click the lid open, pull from the thumb-tabs and roll out what you need. Simple press of the lid cuts the wrap with it clinging to the edge of the dispenser until you pull it off. Easy to cover a plate or bowl. Equally easy to underwrap for a wellington or marinating loin. Minimal effort. Minimal waste. Maximum utility. P.S. I did not receive this product free or at a reduced price. I dont even know how you go about doing that.

I really expected this to take up way too much space and just be a waste of plastic, but I changed my mind. It really works very well. It is too big to fit in the drawer with my aluminum foil, etc., but the top of the refrigerator is actually a really handy spot. Frankly, we got lazy about properly wrapping our food before, because it was just such a chore to get the box out, deal with how poorly it cut, and so on. But now its so easy to pull this dispenser down that all our unused food is still fresh the next day, making less food waste. Just make sure youve got the plastic wrap going over the roller and between the two guides (which have nice little scallops cut out for grabbing the sheet).

It is too high to be in the drawer. It sits on the counter. I wanted it to be put away.

Ok, I would never have guessed that this dispenser could possibly be as good and easy to use as this is. No more tugging plastic wrap against a thin metal strip. You just reach up where the dispenser auto-feeds the wrap and pull out as needed. Tap the top down and it is cut instantly. Far less stretching and clinging to itself. If anyone told me Id pay this much for a great dispense I would have said they are crazy. But after five years of using the great Stretch-Tite wrap from Costco, I found I would use it even more often than using plastic bags IF I had a good dispenser. It is sized only for the large Costco rolls and this is for these rolls that are a little longer tubes than other grocery store brands. Well worth the price! I expect it to last many years.

One of the best things Ive purchased! You avoid waste (of plastic wrap) by putting your plate or container right to the dispenser wall, pull out the plastic wrap to the edge of the opposite side of your plate or container, flip down dispensers lid to cut the plastic wrap, and the plastic covers your plate without folds and fidgeting on your part to straighten the folds, then you just tuck in the plastic around the sides of your plate. Prior to owning this, I could not imagine whats the big deal! Why would I need a dispenser when the plastic wrap comes with its own zipper-like cutting edge. Well, the first time I used it, I knew right away the convenience! You really dont want to be fidgeting with plastic wrap; you want a straightforward, clean, easy process. You hardly handle the plastic wrap because it just folds down on your plate or container and all you have to do is tuck it in. Its so worth the price and the premium real estate it occupies on the kitchen counter! I also like the quality and weight of the Stretch-lite plastic wrap itself and how much of it is in there that you wont have to reload until maybe a year or two.
