> 3 dayFrustration Solved! I have been a Stretch Tite fan for a long long time from Costco with two jumbo rolls. Unfortunately the box falls apart about halfway through. I tape the corners and top but it eventually gets the wrap out of whack and you end up with a 3/4 sheet after a while. This gadget is easy to put the roll in, get it started and you end up with an easy grip spot at the top, pull out what you need and close the lid to cut! I called Stretch Tite years ago about the problems and they said to put in the freezer - and I think I asked about a dispenser but was told they didnt have one. And what do you know they finally do, its great, I would highly recommend it if you have been through the frustrations of plastic wrap.

25-11-2024I bought one from one of the big economy stores, I forget which one, as I belong to both of them. When I bought it, over a year ago, the device was free, but I cant find where they have this device for free, therefore, I purchased it on Amazon for a cost, which IMO was worth it...I bought 2 for a couple people because it so convenient wrapping things, The wrap is sturdy and never tears from the roll. The device is super easy to use and cuts exactly where it needs to be cut. I recommend this to anyone. Would be nice if they made this is different colors, or would ideally like in a stainless.

> 3 dayI like the way it doesn’t get tangled and keeps the wrap straight. My only complaint would be the size. I don’t like to have things in the counter so fitting it into a drawer is a little tight. It fit but you have to make sure it is shut properly. So I would have given it 5 stars if they made it a little sleeker and not as tall.

> 3 dayI also have bought this as gifts and everyone uses and likes it. Mine has moved with me from one home to another and another and if it were to disappear Id immediately get another one. So today I bought another one as a gift for a foodie that I work with. If you follow the instructions - pull the wrap out and over the container that will be covered, this works well. But if you just pull it off and plan to carry it to the bowl, it wont work. Then you might as well use the tear-off on the box that the wrap comes in. So the trick is to read the instructions and use it that way. There is a separate one for aluminum foil which I also have an also like. In fact, I use that more often as I use foil more often. That is called Wrap Master Foil. Later - Well, it looks like theres no longer a separate one for foil. I checked out the companys web site and it says that theyre out of stock but I think this is permanent. It looks like you can use the plastic wrap type for foil, too. I just checked the two out as I have both and the blades look the same.

> 3 daySadly I was not happy with this product. I got it because our wrapmaster plastic wrap dispenser had gotten dropped and no longer functioned right. And the Wrapmaster is only occasionally available and I had loved it so much I didnt want to be without. This had pretty good reviews so I thought I would try it. First it is unstable on the counter. Every time I would press the lid down to cut the wrap, the whole thing would tip, or even slam down on its side. Maybe if it is mounted on the wall this wouldnt be an issue, but it was darned annoying for me. Second, I got the stretch title brand plastic wrap and it was too clingy. It would stick to the top part, which is where the blade making it dangerous in my opinion. My husband did cut himself trying to get an edge of the wrap dislodged from the blade edge so that he could cut a section off. I finally decided to see if the wax paper dispenser I had from WrapMaster would work with plastic wrap and YEAH! it did. So this is going to Goodwill. I suppose if you had never experienced the joy of effortless plastic wrap usage that I found with my WrapMaster, this would seem a step up from the frustration of the boxes inadequate serrated edge.

Greater than one weekNice & heavy. It also fits into the kitchen drawer but I had to lay it down sideways to have it fit. To fill you only need to drop your roll of plastic wrap into the cradle. Just drop in your roll, close the lid & you are done. Pretty good product. I currently have a roll of Glad Cling Wrap 200 and it works fine. I do have a roll of Stretch-tite Wrap but I havent opened that one yet, so the Glad Cling Wrap works just as well. I really dont think it matters which style of wrap you use. How would the product know you are using the *wrong* wrap? As long as it doesnt go over 200 I dont believe there would be an issue. Now we need more dispensers that will work as easily for wax paper & foil. They used to sell a trio of cutters - plastic wrap, foil & wax paper at QVC but I believe they no longer carry them. Oh well, thisll do. Thisll do just fine. I have read on other sites that if you inadvertently use foil in this product, it will dull the cutting blade. Dont see why though since I sharpen my scissors by cutting through layers of foil. How the foil would *dull* the cutting blade is beyond me but I will use it for now only for plastic wrap. Fair price for a good product. So far. Any problems I may have in the future I will be sure to update this review. Have a good day.

> 3 dayI needed to replace my plastic wrap dispenser. I was using the Wrapmaster brand dispenser with the Stretch-tite plastic wrap. No complaints on that one. Just that I only use Stretch-tite wrap anyways and I saw this one on Amazon when searching. I purchased. And so far.... have no complaints on this dispenser either. And now I have the option to use a roll size up to 750ft which is a plus!

> 3 dayI really like StetchTite plastic wrap but like all plastic wrap, the container falls apart too soon. I stumbled across this dispenser when looking for something else and decided it was worth trying. I bought two - one for the kitchen and one for my studio. Im an artist and when Im done painting for the day, I cover my oil palette with plastic wrap and put it in the freezer. This has been a rather messy operation as the wrap clings to itself and trying to get it over may palette is often a struggle to see whos going to win the battle the wrap or me. The dispenser solved the problem for me and I am thrilled. I set my palette on my drawing table, in front of the dispenser, and pull the wrap out and over it. It stays straight and I get a tight seal. I also love using the dispenser in the kitchen. It is just so easy to use and I can wrap bowls, cut fruit, plates, and just about anything that I need to either freeze or refrigerate quickly and cleanly. Now all I need to do is get the other members of the household to use it.
