Greater than one weekThough some people maybe have never ripped their finger to shreds on a serrated cutting blade included on the box of plastic wrap, or gone through the inconvenience of having the end roll back up into the box and then go through the pain of fixing that, it seemed to be something that happened to me all of the time and always when you were in a hurry. With this dispenser those days are long gone. I love this gadget! It works perfectly every single time and takes the frustration out of wrapping items to store for later or cover dishes. Its such a simple design and after installing the included legs I had no problems with the unit slipping at all. It also has mounting holes to mount the unit on a wall or other area if you like. This thing is well worth the money if you use plastic wrap. I did end up having to buy the Stretch-tite Wrap though, as the other brands I had on hand did not fit in the unit, but I found the Stretch-tite wrap to be of equal or higher quality than what I had on hand for a decent price here on Amazon.com

> 3 dayHow many times have you fought with the plastic wrap while trying to put away leftovers? How frustrating has this been for most of us? VERY frustrating is my answer. Didnt you ever dream of a machine that would solve the plastic wrap problems-ALL OF THEM? DREAM NO MORE! This has got to be one of, if not the best, non-powered kitchen appliances I have ever seen. Actually, this fits the description of MACHINE perfectly: an apparatus using or applying mechanical power and having several parts, each with a definite function and together performing a particular task. Whoever designed this product realized that something that needs to function in a specific way need not be complicated, nor does it need to be expensive. Add to this an instruction sheet that was so simple, even a caveman can do it. Took me the best part of 5 minutes to put my roll of Stretch-tite in the housing, set it up and begin dispensing. It took me this long because I ignored the most important instruction-the first sentence that says Beware the cutting blade hidden in the lid. It is very sharp and will cut easily or words to that effect. Thats exactly what happened. I could hear the JAWS music in the background and the machine saying See, I warned you! (Please see my pictures and commentary on the product page.) After the successful first aid treatment, it was ready to go. This machine is so simple and easy to use I almost didnt believe it. The RARE and COVETED FIVE STAR RATING. I highly recommend this product but need to add a few things. FIRST-follow all the instructions. It is supplied with two snap-on feet with non-slip material and is designed to be used on the counter or other flat surface. ONLY use the machine with Stretch-tite plastic wrap, and make sure youre feeding it from the back forward, not the other way around or it wont dispense properly. Trying to use it with any other wrap, aluminum foil, wax paper, etc. will simple ruin the cutting blade. DO NOT try to pickup the machine by the lid when it is opened or you will discover how sharp the cutting blade is. And lastly, dont overthink the instructions. I tend to think things are more complicated than they really are. This is EASY. With a little practice youll be off to the races in nothing flat. And remember, plastic wrap can be used for so many other things besides food. HAPPY WRAPPING!

> 3 dayWorks great. My only complaint is the wrap they make is only 11.63 wide. The machine will work with 12 but stretch tight only makes 11.63 wide for it

> 3 dayMaybe its just me but I have to work too hard to make it work. I saw a famous TV chef use it & it looked so easy but not sturdy or easy to keep in place then one must pull out the sheet of film then give the top a little slam (I tried a soft close of the top but that didnt work for me) to cut the film. I keep using it because it was a little pricey and I keep thinking its just me.

> 3 dayI am very happy with this purchase! Ive been using Stretch-tite for years, but had no idea this dispenser existed, so the box would end up messed up when the roll was about 1/3 of the way used up. Annoying, to say the least. I would have to fix it with a tape, be very gentle when tearing the plastic, just no bueno! the dispenser changed it all - what a wonderfully well designed gadget! Now, one word of caution: when I first ordered the product, it came with a plastic already loaded and two pieces of plastic broken, shaking inside the dispenser. I asked to return it. No problems, got a new one two days later, no extra charge. When I opened the new package, it became clear that the one I got before contained a dispenser that had been used and returned by a customer, still with a roll inside. When you get the package, make sure the dispenser is encased in a fully sealed plastic wrap, and that a sheet with instructions in enclosed in the box. Both things were not the case for my first purchase.

> 3 dayIts easy to use and takes care of the totally useless stupid box that Stretch-Tite plastic wrap comes in. If Saran Wrap could make a box you could actually use why cant Stretch-Tite? Saw this item in a video by Ina Garten and am so glad I have it.

> 3 dayIm used to keeping a roll of this stuff in a cabinet and bringing it out each time I need to use it (just about every day). This is often when hands are covered in food or whatever so the box gets grungy over time; the box also needs immediate reinforcement with heavy-duty packaging tape or it quickly falls apart. I happened upon this dispenser on Amazon and, since the only cling wrap that Ive ever found worth buying is what Costco sells (Stretch-Tite, two boxes of 750 each bundled together) and since this dispenser describes itself as specifically designed for this brand, I figured this would reduce the chances that Id have to return it as not useful. It works great. Im happy with it. Good quality and very to use. I like the way the lid is perpetually open so my fingers dont have to touch anything at all before grabbing hold of the wrap and pulling it out. The cutting mechanism is also well-designed so I can use even my wrist or elbow to push the lid down, which activates the cutter, before springing back up into open position. I gave this 4 stars only because it does not include a means to attach under cabinets. I dont want any more counter clutter and the counter backsplashes are mirrors and I was reluctant to risk cracking the glass by drilling holes through the mirrors and so I had to improve a solution for this - see pics). For each one of the two support brackets, I used epoxy to attach one 9 90-degree angle bracket to a second 6 90-degree angle bracket to create a large U shaped bracket. I screwed one side into the underside of the cabinet which left a horizontal bar 6+ inches below and parallel to the underside of the cabinet. I attached the feet of the dispenser to each bracket with 3M double-sided tape, which is more than strong enough to keep this baby in place. One satisfied customer.

> 3 dayI LOVE this product! I used it at my daughter in laws house and came home to order one for myself. Super easy to use, well made. Great value. Plastic wrap is such a pain; this makes it a snap.

> 3 daySadly I was not happy with this product. I got it because our wrapmaster plastic wrap dispenser had gotten dropped and no longer functioned right. And the Wrapmaster is only occasionally available and I had loved it so much I didnt want to be without. This had pretty good reviews so I thought I would try it. First it is unstable on the counter. Every time I would press the lid down to cut the wrap, the whole thing would tip, or even slam down on its side. Maybe if it is mounted on the wall this wouldnt be an issue, but it was darned annoying for me. Second, I got the stretch title brand plastic wrap and it was too clingy. It would stick to the top part, which is where the blade making it dangerous in my opinion. My husband did cut himself trying to get an edge of the wrap dislodged from the blade edge so that he could cut a section off. I finally decided to see if the wax paper dispenser I had from WrapMaster would work with plastic wrap and YEAH! it did. So this is going to Goodwill. I suppose if you had never experienced the joy of effortless plastic wrap usage that I found with my WrapMaster, this would seem a step up from the frustration of the boxes inadequate serrated edge.
