An Empty-Nester
> 3 daySeriously, didnt think much at first (device is a bit pricey), but in many ways, dropping a roll of plastic wrap in it and then using it, my normal frustrations with plastic wrap are definitely lessened. I now am wasting less wrap overall (which is a good thing, since its not a smashed up tangled mess from the cardboard). I keep this at hand, always because I measurecout all ingredients first before doing recipe anyways. And this works well for outdoor picnic or patio meals too

> 3 dayI am reviewing this dispenser for my husband, who paid for it. May flights of angels sing him to his rest each night (or I will) for this act. He hath done a blessed thing. I cant tell you how much plastic wrap I have wasted in my lifetime. It would wrinkle as it came out of the box, it stuck to itself, it stuck to me, it stuck to everything except the desired object, and to add insult to injury it would never tear in a neat, straight line, but tore raggedly and stretched and the box bit me (or thats the impression I got) about half the time. Sometimes the box came apart. Sometimes I helped it along. End result? A wrinkled wad of plastic wrap, an uncovered food item, and a frazzled wife, or (best case scenario) a sort-of-covered item that would go bad soon and band-aids usually involved. But now? With this marvelous Wrap-n-Snap dispenser we see a bad master transformed into a wonderful slave. The plastic wrap comes out without wrinkling (proper tension), and cuts neatly across without cutting the wife. The desired food product is already covered, and the wife is happy. Praise God! Worth every penny he paid for it.

> 3 dayNice & heavy. It also fits into the kitchen drawer but I had to lay it down sideways to have it fit. To fill you only need to drop your roll of plastic wrap into the cradle. Just drop in your roll, close the lid & you are done. Pretty good product. I currently have a roll of Glad Cling Wrap 200 and it works fine. I do have a roll of Stretch-tite Wrap but I havent opened that one yet, so the Glad Cling Wrap works just as well. I really dont think it matters which style of wrap you use. How would the product know you are using the *wrong* wrap? As long as it doesnt go over 200 I dont believe there would be an issue. Now we need more dispensers that will work as easily for wax paper & foil. They used to sell a trio of cutters - plastic wrap, foil & wax paper at QVC but I believe they no longer carry them. Oh well, thisll do. Thisll do just fine. I have read on other sites that if you inadvertently use foil in this product, it will dull the cutting blade. Dont see why though since I sharpen my scissors by cutting through layers of foil. How the foil would *dull* the cutting blade is beyond me but I will use it for now only for plastic wrap. Fair price for a good product. So far. Any problems I may have in the future I will be sure to update this review. Have a good day.

> 3 dayThis product is just plain great. I did not realize just how much fumbling I experienced using the film manufacturers boxes. This item made all the problems go away. My only reservation is the design of the top retaining lever. It is very thin and I fear it will stress fracture with time. Time will tell.

> 3 dayI just received mine, I tried a roll of glad plastic wrap that my wife bought at the local store and it worked with no issues. The roll was 300 ft and works great. I also tried some wax paper that wasn’t from the company that sells this product. Just make sure that the roll only 12 inches long and under 750 feet. It didn’t matter what brand I used it works, as long as I stayed with in the dimensions. This product isn’t like other products it doesn’t have guides that goes into the end of the role. I Just drops roll into the compartment and thread plastic wrap through and it works as it should.

> 3 dayI have always had trouble with plastic wrap, Im left handed and felt that might have something to do with the wrestling match I endured.Tried every brand, the heavy verses the thin, and heavy was better, but not good. Now that Im a senior citizen with arthritis in my hands plastic wrap was a nightmare. Im back to finding new uses for plastic wrap now that it is a dream to use with WrapN Snap dispenser. It does take up more space and does not fit in the spot I kept the box type in. I have left it on the counter and this has worked out better. Im using it more. I had gotten into the habit of using zip lock bags for items that a quick wrap would do. An example is taking medication on the go. Plastic wrapped pills in the pocket is better than a qt. bag in the pocket. When packing for a trip I used plastic wrap instead of bags for many items like an extra pair of shoes that may soil clean clothing do well wrapped, takes up less room than air filled bags.

> 3 dayWorks great. Saves me a lot of money on zip loc bags. I bake a lot of bread. When the loaves are large, I make large sandwiches. Regular baggies are never large enough, and many times not even quart size bags are enough. I have put sandwiches in gallon bags before, but thats wasteful, and embarassing. Using plastic wrap instead is ideal. I had a 750 sq ft roll plastic wrap I bought at Wal-Mart. The rolling cutter was so horrible (even when it was kept free of residue) that it was very frustrating to use the wrap. I got the Wrap n Snap dispenser based on the reviews and am so glad I did. It is a pleasure to use. Always chops the wrap in a straight line, never fails, and no frustration. The walmart roll had over an inch of tube sticking out either end and I had to trim off a good bit on either end (with a bread knife) and it worked fine, but from now on I will buy the Stretch-tite rolls at Costco.
