> 3 dayThough some people maybe have never ripped their finger to shreds on a serrated cutting blade included on the box of plastic wrap, or gone through the inconvenience of having the end roll back up into the box and then go through the pain of fixing that, it seemed to be something that happened to me all of the time and always when you were in a hurry. With this dispenser those days are long gone. I love this gadget! It works perfectly every single time and takes the frustration out of wrapping items to store for later or cover dishes. Its such a simple design and after installing the included legs I had no problems with the unit slipping at all. It also has mounting holes to mount the unit on a wall or other area if you like. This thing is well worth the money if you use plastic wrap. I did end up having to buy the Stretch-tite Wrap though, as the other brands I had on hand did not fit in the unit, but I found the Stretch-tite wrap to be of equal or higher quality than what I had on hand for a decent price here on Amazon.com

Greater than one weekAll in all I am very happy with my purchase. In general, the dispenser certainly looks better than the cardboard box/dispenser that the plastic comes in, the cardboard box never stayed put when the wrap was pulled out and the end of the plastic was always falling back into the box. The dumb task of fishing out the end of the wrap finally made me decide to find a dispenser that was easier and cleaner to use. I debated for a time between this product and the Kenkut 3

> 3 dayNice & heavy. It also fits into the kitchen drawer but I had to lay it down sideways to have it fit. To fill you only need to drop your roll of plastic wrap into the cradle. Just drop in your roll, close the lid & you are done. Pretty good product. I currently have a roll of Glad Cling Wrap 200 and it works fine. I do have a roll of Stretch-tite Wrap but I havent opened that one yet, so the Glad Cling Wrap works just as well. I really dont think it matters which style of wrap you use. How would the product know you are using the *wrong* wrap? As long as it doesnt go over 200 I dont believe there would be an issue. Now we need more dispensers that will work as easily for wax paper & foil. They used to sell a trio of cutters - plastic wrap, foil & wax paper at QVC but I believe they no longer carry them. Oh well, thisll do. Thisll do just fine. I have read on other sites that if you inadvertently use foil in this product, it will dull the cutting blade. Dont see why though since I sharpen my scissors by cutting through layers of foil. How the foil would *dull* the cutting blade is beyond me but I will use it for now only for plastic wrap. Fair price for a good product. So far. Any problems I may have in the future I will be sure to update this review. Have a good day.

> 3 day...Ive spent the last 35 or 40 years of my life cussing every brand of plastic wrap Ive ever used. Cant tell you how many hours of my life Ive wasted trying to unfold/unstick/unwad wrap after tearing it off using the cutter thats built into the box. And even worse, having to take the roll OUT of the box and patiently search for & free the end when it disappears back into the box. I found this gadget on Amazon and ordered one, and the recommended Stretch-Tite wrap. All I can say is I wish I had this thing 30 years ago. It does what it says, and does it WELL. The wrap is cut cleanly, there is no folding over or wadding up, and the wrap does NOT slip back down inside the dispenser the way it can with the cardboard boxes. You just gently press down on the lid and its cut. That simple. One thing I really like is you can use the heel of your hand to push the lid down and make the cut - this is great when you are wrapping up say raw chicken pieces to put in the freezer, since you never have to touch the machine with your chicken-juice-covered fingers. Doing this with the cardboard-box dispensers, Id have to stop & wash my hands before tearing off the next piece of wrap so I wouldnt get chicken juice all over the box. Believe me, thats a time-saver. What can I say, this gadget impressed me so much I ordered 2 more to give as gifts! If you hate trying to untangle plastic wrap this is exactly what you need. People have asked if brands of wrap other than Stretch-Tite will work - Im going to post an answer to that in the Questions section for this product. Check that answer to see if your wrap brand will fit.

Greater than one weekNearly perfectly. Heres how it works. You lift the lid and trigger two buttons, one on each end. That frees the insert. You insert your roll of plastic wrap and pull the loose end out and back over the lid. Replace the insert. Now, the tail end of the plastic is running between two pieces of plastic. Those pieces have three curved cutouts at both ends and the middle. This allows you, after cutting, to pull the end out to the desired length. To cut, bring the lid down all the way. It doesnt feel like much happened, but when you let the lid up, the plastic is cut cleanly. The new roll end is again caught between the plastic pieces and ready for you to pull another. If you were to pick the loaded dispenser up and shake it, its possible to bounce the roll around enough to pull the end back into the body of the machine, in which case, you just open the insert and reload. No big deal. Im kind of stunned. I really didnt expect this kind of slick operation. If it matters, I have been using 100-foot Saran wrap in it. I see no reason for it to work any differently with other brands. The lid that you lift to grab the roll end sits about halfway ajar, but there is a simple one-hand twist latch that can hold it closed to keep it from crumb-catching if you like. I feels substantial and well made and will likely last long enough to be well worth the price. As related in other reviews, it probably wont take very large rolls. It comes with some soft rubber shoes, one for each side, that gives it considerable traction on a counter. But on my slick stainless counter or on top of my no-fingerprint enameled bread box, its barely heavy enough to sit still reliably when you pull a length. Thats not really too big a deal. It pretty well takes two hands, one to pull and one to push the lid down to cut, so you have a hand on the dispenser anyway. Im going to rig mine with a sheet magnet glued to the bottom to stick to my steel counter or steel breadbox. Of course, no problem if its attached with screws. The instructions specifically say that it wont work with foil. I suspect, though, that it may well work with parchment or wax paper. I bake all our bread, and I frequently need to pull a foot of wrap to cover a bowl during proofing. I intensely dislike fiddling with a plastic wrap box and the inadequate cutting edge provided. Plus, the box falls apart before I finish the roll. No more of that. As I said, IT WORKS!

> 3 dayI hate the box with the serrated metal edge for cutting. The amount of time I have accidentally cut my finger on that serrated metal when I wasnt even using it, but rather reaching into the drawer for something else. This solved that issue with a much better looking, safer, and easier to use container. Theres a lock to keep it closed, so youll have to swing the latch when youre using it. Then you just pull out the wrap over your container and snap the lid down. Thats it. No more trying to cut or rip the wrap. This fits the 750 sq ft stretch lite you can get at Costco perfectly.

> 3 dayMy first one lasted about 10 yrs. Easiest way to use plastic wrap. Don’t think this one is made as good but still easiest way to use plastic wrap!
