Greater than one weekI LOVE this product! I used it at my daughter in laws house and came home to order one for myself. Super easy to use, well made. Great value. Plastic wrap is such a pain; this makes it a snap.

> 3 dayThis dispenser makes it easy to use plastic wrap. One of the best kitchen products ever. The only downside is that the cover lock broke after years of use.

Greater than one weekI am reviewing this dispenser for my husband, who paid for it. May flights of angels sing him to his rest each night (or I will) for this act. He hath done a blessed thing. I cant tell you how much plastic wrap I have wasted in my lifetime. It would wrinkle as it came out of the box, it stuck to itself, it stuck to me, it stuck to everything except the desired object, and to add insult to injury it would never tear in a neat, straight line, but tore raggedly and stretched and the box bit me (or thats the impression I got) about half the time. Sometimes the box came apart. Sometimes I helped it along. End result? A wrinkled wad of plastic wrap, an uncovered food item, and a frazzled wife, or (best case scenario) a sort-of-covered item that would go bad soon and band-aids usually involved. But now? With this marvelous Wrap-n-Snap dispenser we see a bad master transformed into a wonderful slave. The plastic wrap comes out without wrinkling (proper tension), and cuts neatly across without cutting the wife. The desired food product is already covered, and the wife is happy. Praise God! Worth every penny he paid for it.

Greater than one weekThis is my second dispenser--identical--but whereas the first one was very effective in cutting the wrap evenly when I pressed the top down, this one is not. I loved the first one and had it for years before a part broke. This replacement looks exactly the same, but doesnt work as well in cutting off even strips of wrap.

> 3 dayOne of the best things Ive purchased! You avoid waste (of plastic wrap) by putting your plate or container right to the dispenser wall, pull out the plastic wrap to the edge of the opposite side of your plate or container, flip down dispensers lid to cut the plastic wrap, and the plastic covers your plate without folds and fidgeting on your part to straighten the folds, then you just tuck in the plastic around the sides of your plate. Prior to owning this, I could not imagine whats the big deal! Why would I need a dispenser when the plastic wrap comes with its own zipper-like cutting edge. Well, the first time I used it, I knew right away the convenience! You really dont want to be fidgeting with plastic wrap; you want a straightforward, clean, easy process. You hardly handle the plastic wrap because it just folds down on your plate or container and all you have to do is tuck it in. Its so worth the price and the premium real estate it occupies on the kitchen counter! I also like the quality and weight of the Stretch-lite plastic wrap itself and how much of it is in there that you wont have to reload until maybe a year or two.

Greater than one weekFrustration Solved! I have been a Stretch Tite fan for a long long time from Costco with two jumbo rolls. Unfortunately the box falls apart about halfway through. I tape the corners and top but it eventually gets the wrap out of whack and you end up with a 3/4 sheet after a while. This gadget is easy to put the roll in, get it started and you end up with an easy grip spot at the top, pull out what you need and close the lid to cut! I called Stretch Tite years ago about the problems and they said to put in the freezer - and I think I asked about a dispenser but was told they didnt have one. And what do you know they finally do, its great, I would highly recommend it if you have been through the frustrations of plastic wrap.

Greater than one weekI grew tired of the cardboard box for the plastic wrap wearing out or wearing down halfway through the roll. We buy the two-packs at Costco, which is a great value. The cost of this container is really high, surprisingly enough, but my frustration with torn boxes and taping them up was also high. The box is sturdy and works great; the cutter is terrific. But, you need to include the little feet which makes it too big to then fit in the cabinet rack ... so we have to leave it on the counter. Its functional but certainly not attractive. And even if you can stow it away, the weight of the container and the roll of wrap makes it unwieldy to use in the same way you would the cardboard box. Bottom line, I like it for its function, dont think its worth the money being charged, and think the design could have been better.
