> 3 dayThis is my second dispenser--identical--but whereas the first one was very effective in cutting the wrap evenly when I pressed the top down, this one is not. I loved the first one and had it for years before a part broke. This replacement looks exactly the same, but doesnt work as well in cutting off even strips of wrap.

Greater than one weekOne of the best things Ive purchased! You avoid waste (of plastic wrap) by putting your plate or container right to the dispenser wall, pull out the plastic wrap to the edge of the opposite side of your plate or container, flip down dispensers lid to cut the plastic wrap, and the plastic covers your plate without folds and fidgeting on your part to straighten the folds, then you just tuck in the plastic around the sides of your plate. Prior to owning this, I could not imagine whats the big deal! Why would I need a dispenser when the plastic wrap comes with its own zipper-like cutting edge. Well, the first time I used it, I knew right away the convenience! You really dont want to be fidgeting with plastic wrap; you want a straightforward, clean, easy process. You hardly handle the plastic wrap because it just folds down on your plate or container and all you have to do is tuck it in. Its so worth the price and the premium real estate it occupies on the kitchen counter! I also like the quality and weight of the Stretch-lite plastic wrap itself and how much of it is in there that you wont have to reload until maybe a year or two.

> 3 dayMy counter space is very limited and since this item claimed to have a mounting option I was hoping to mount it to a wall. Unfortunately, it does not function in that configuration. My guess is the mounting holes are intended to mount to the counter surface. There should also be some type of warning or statement that once the stabilizers are securely in, they are secured. They are not coming back out without breaking something. Once I realized I could not mount it, I put the stabilizers on to see if I could find a counter or shelf home for it but nothing worked. So I figured I would just keep the dispenser in the drawer that I keep the wraps in. It was too big with the stabilizers and I could not get them off! Therefore, Im returning.

> 3 dayI also have bought this as gifts and everyone uses and likes it. Mine has moved with me from one home to another and another and if it were to disappear Id immediately get another one. So today I bought another one as a gift for a foodie that I work with. If you follow the instructions - pull the wrap out and over the container that will be covered, this works well. But if you just pull it off and plan to carry it to the bowl, it wont work. Then you might as well use the tear-off on the box that the wrap comes in. So the trick is to read the instructions and use it that way. There is a separate one for aluminum foil which I also have an also like. In fact, I use that more often as I use foil more often. That is called Wrap Master Foil. Later - Well, it looks like theres no longer a separate one for foil. I checked out the companys web site and it says that theyre out of stock but I think this is permanent. It looks like you can use the plastic wrap type for foil, too. I just checked the two out as I have both and the blades look the same.

> 3 dayI love this dispenser. I cook a lot of cake and I cut it in slices and wrap in plastic wrap to freeze it. I cant tell you how much I hate dealing with plastic wrap. No more struggle. I saw Ina Garten use it on her show and I immediately order it. All cooks will really appreciate the convenience.

> 3 dayIt is too high to be in the drawer. It sits on the counter. I wanted it to be put away.
