> 24 hourI purchased the Sulky 9 yard Solvy water soluble stabilizer for my embroidery projects. This product has made a significant difference in the quality of my embroidery work. The stabilizer is very easy to use and dissolves quickly in water without leaving any residue. It provides excellent support to the fabric during embroidery, preventing any puckering or stretching. The end result is a flawless embroidery design that looks professional and polished for sure!

> 24 hourO.K. I am new to embroidery and I ordered this at the same time I ordered my machine. I am sure that it is a fine product for those who have some experience and actually know what they need. This is not the product for a newbie. I didnt realize that it would be so thin. After reading the reviews (I know, should have read them first) it sounds like it should be used on top and that a thicker stabilizer should be used on the bottom. Still learning.....

> 24 hourThis product is fantastic for not only machine embroidery, but also for sewing on towels, fake furs, or anything that requires a little help for your machine to sew smoothly. I use it for applique, quilting, embroidery etc.

> 24 hourI got this for FSL projects. The instructions say to use 3 layers for FSL and I did. I was using a new #11 needle. On the first outline pass it tore loose and jammed my machine. I had to take a chance to disassemble it so I could finish Christmas projects. ONLY USE THIS ON TOP OF YOUR WORK!

> 24 hourSulky has always made reliable products, and this is not an exception. I always use single layers on top of medium-weight fabric and two or three layers on top of terry cloth and have been very satisfied with the results. Bits and pieces of this stabilizer can be dissolved in water (with a little alcohol to ward off mold) and brushed on thin cottons for stability. Let it dry thoroughly before embroidering. The brushing on and drying technique can be done several times to stiffen thin fabrics. I always test on a scrap of fabric first to make sure no water marks stain the fabric.

> 24 hourI am very new to machine embroidery and I purchased this item as sort of a must-have starter list. It is perfect for use as floater stabilizer for the top of towels and fleeced materials. It is less perfect as a base for free-standing lace projects - two layers are a must! I will buy it again.
