> 3 dayI am a new user of embroidery machines. This stabilizer is the best made for the top of embroidering. I cut the holder at the bottom of the container, and place it near the front of the drawer. I then drape the stabilizer over the side of a drawer and it is there at your connivance to just pull and snip just the size that you want. It is reasonable and fast fast service so when you are low you will be surprised of the speedy delivery. Cost is great also.

> 3 dayThis is okay if you are doing embroidery say for the eyes of a stuffed animal. However, I mainly got this to use for a free standing lace project. As other reviewers have stated, this is not the item for that. It shreds when placed alone in the embroidery hoop. If you need a dissolving stabilizer for freestanding lace, go with sulkly ultra solvy or vilene.

> 3 dayIve been using the Sulky Solvy Water Soluble Stabilizer Roll for my embroidery projects, and its been a game changer. The roll is easy to use and can be cut to any size, which is great for customizing to my needs. The water-soluble feature means that I can simply wash it away once Im done stitching, without any residue or damage to my fabric. I also appreciate that its sturdy enough to hold up during embroidery, but still easy to tear away after washing. Overall, I highly recommend this stabilizer roll to any embroidery enthusiast looking for a reliable and versatile product.

> 3 dayThe sulky stabilizer came in a roll with instructions. I used it to make some altered fabric pieces, and they turned out well. It was a little tricky to sew over it, but once I got the hang of it, it went ok. It dissolves pretty well, with some coaxing. It will only work on washable fabric, so I cannot use it with everything such as items with paper pieces. Used in the right applications, its a very good product.

Greater than one weekI have been using Sulky Solvy for almost a year to make great Shabby Chic scarves, and it holds together many layers of fibers - fabric, yarn, angelina fibers... you name it! Once I have it all stitched up, the stabilizer rinses out, leaving a great-looking scarf. This size is perfect for the project, as I like to make the scarves about 6 inches wide... I lay out my fibers on one half, then fold the other half over and pin in place. I understand you can also press together using a pressing cloth, but I havent tried that yet.

> 3 dayThis is much thinner than I expected it to be. You really still need to use another stabilizer on anything that is the least bit stretchy. For fabric that is stiff already, it will probably work OK. So far, I have only been able to use it as a top stabilizer with a heavier duty stabilizer under the fabric.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for embroidering on towels or any fabric with a nap. When I embroider on towels, I use this on the front and back so that there is no stabilizer showing anywhere. A tip - to remove any little bits and pieces, you dont need to wash the item, just mist it with your iron, lay a paper towel over the embroidery and iron. The little pieces will all come off on the paper towel and not your iron. Easy peasy
