> 3 dayI ordered this to use to help stabilize minky fabric appliqués for cutting and sewing. When I received it, it wasnt exactly what I was hoping for, but I figured out a way to make it work really well for my needs. I jus cut out a piece of minky that will fit my appliqué shape and cut a piece of solvy in the same size. I then soak the minky with a spray bottle of water and put the solve on top. The solve melts into the fabric and once it dries, it is nice and stiff for cutting and sewing my appliqués. Once I get everything together, I just throw the completed item in the wash and it come out perfect every time.

> 3 dayIf you are looking to hand embroider small things, perhaps look into the one with adhesive backing. My first impression when I opened the package was that it smells like glue. It just kind of felt and acted like a roll of dried glue. Tracing the design onto it wasnt too hard but it was tricky as it kept slipping around. While embroidering, I found that the material is a bit gummy. My needle would go through the fabric but not the stabilizer unless I stab really hard. This ended up stretching the stabilizer which messed up the alignment of my design. I did enjoy watching it dissolve though. Maybe I didnt like it because i am still a beginner. I think this is more fit for people who already have experience with a similar material.

> 3 dayWe needed water-soluble material to hold my Mama Ritas ashes before throwing them into the ocean. We made seven bags for seven scattering tubes. This allowed us to pitch an entire tube (also water soluble/biodegradable) or just throw the bag. This worked GREAT!

> 3 dayThis is perfect for embroidering on towels or any fabric with a nap. When I embroider on towels, I use this on the front and back so that there is no stabilizer showing anywhere. A tip - to remove any little bits and pieces, you dont need to wash the item, just mist it with your iron, lay a paper towel over the embroidery and iron. The little pieces will all come off on the paper towel and not your iron. Easy peasy

> 3 dayThis worked but not as well as I would have wished. The adhesion is not as sturdy as what I actually needed but with a little contrivance I was able to make it work.

> 3 dayI am very new to machine embroidery and I purchased this item as sort of a must-have starter list. It is perfect for use as floater stabilizer for the top of towels and fleeced materials. It is less perfect as a base for free-standing lace projects - two layers are a must! I will buy it again.
