> 24 hourI bought a few of these for around the house lights that I dont care about. The low setting is more than ample for a night light to get around the house or read and the high output lights up rooms very well. They feel cheap compared to the all aluminum machined Surefire lights but they are also less expensive. I still prefer the 6P for a carry light with a constant on-off tailcap with retainer for carry on the belt. The double tap to get to high output isnt complex but in a carry light, it should come on full strength immediately IMHO.

> 24 hourThis is one of the best lights LED lights Ive owned. Ive been waiting for awhile for surefire to step their LED game up most of the early gen led models were a little over priced for their performance. Ive owned plenty of surefires before but this is first led one Ive purchased. i will start by saying that i am a delivery driver for a very large company, and i was getting upset with how many g2 and 6p bulbs i went through. so i used alot of other brands LED flashlights, many put out a good amount of light but the color was to blue on the light spectrum and it made it really hard for me to read address numbers. This puts out a color much closer to around 4500k and is much easier on the eyes.the g2 series are very durable ive dropped mine plenty of times out of my truck and all of them still work even ran over the 6p with a brown truck. Most standard led, even on reflective address numbers, will get drowned out by the blue is light and blend in. one last thing is with the new led bulbs you can use rechargeable cr123a batteries because of the built in regulator which is great because i go through a set about every other day in the winter time. P.S. i reviewed this light after over a year of use

> 24 hourSmall, durable, lightweight, bright when I need it to be. Great price for this light. I bought a holster for it (Surefire V70) and it fits perfectly. I recommend grabbing that also.

> 24 hourPros: Everything. Its a great item. Rugged, reliable, easy to use, lightweight, low power consumption (in low power mode), very bright (in high power mode). Cons: Not rechargeable... if thats what you need. But I didnt. Bottom line: Need a small, lightweight, rugged flashlight? Dont need it to be rechargeable? This is it.

> 24 hourFeels very solid, sturdy. Good tactile response for on/off switch. Partial-Pressure switch is a little finicky, but Ive only had this light for 1 day, so I think its just something Im doing inconsistently when I apply pressure. The 1 thing I dont really like is the low-to-high brightness switch setup. I understand that this is a $60 light, and I think for the price and warranty alone, it is an incredible value... That being said I wish there were a feature to allow variations on the high/low setting. I dont think this would make a proper tactical weapon light because of this. Having to scroll through low, off, high by pushing the switch 3 times seems like a liability to me. Other than that, this light is freakin awesome and I would definitely recommend it for multipurpose use for almost anything.

> 24 hourThis is my second Surefire flashlight. Ive owned several other decent LED lights (Olight, Fenix, etc), and this is by far my favorite brand. Its simple, and it works. My only gripe is that I am unable to use the rechargeable 18650 batteries like in other lights. The body of the light is not shaped wide enough to fit the slightly wider batteries. But, I have a decent supply of cr123a so that helps. I do like the fact that at first press of the tailcap switch, I am on low beam mode. Second tap gives me the higher output. For awhile I walked a lot at night (fitness) and this gave me the chance to see what was in front of me without the blinding light, unless I needed it. The spill is good - not too focused and not too wide. Overall a good light worth the money. Simple, easy to use, reliable, and so far pretty efficient.

> 24 hourI bought this for my fiance, so here is his review about the flashlight: I work in law enforcement so a good flashlight is something you need especially if you work the night shift. This is a very powerful light. It lights up areas about 50-60 yards away no problem. It burns right through tinted windows. Small and compact but dont let the size fool you.

> 24 hourNice improvement (IMO) over my SureFire 6P LED Defender...at a fraction of the price. Low/high option, light weight and sturdy. Ordering another pair of G2X Pro’s for the vehicles.

> 24 hourAfter owning the SureFire G2X for several years, it continues to provide rock solid dependable performance. Although the continuing evolution of LED technology now offers us higher lumens in a comparable sized package, the G2X is still one of my go-to lights. Lightweight, bright enough, and seemingly indestructible, this light is highly recommended!
