-1 star for brightness These are far from high intensity LEDs like they say in the description. I sampled the lux of a 3 foot long strand by placing my meter centered under the strip at a distance of 6 inches. 400 lux. For reference, a 750 lumen light bulb sampled from the same distance is 1500 lux. The brightness of the LEDs are really only good enough for decoration and accent lighting. -1 Star for the folds at the solder points. These 5 meter strips are made up of smaller strips soldered together at the factory before a waterproof coating is applied. Every single one of these solder joints is folded like this in the 5m reel. The paper that protects the adhesive backing does not fold with the strip, leaving the adhesive exposed under every solder joint. I didnt catch this and when I went to install the strips and got shuffleboard powder stuck to the strip in spots. +1 for price, these are super cheap for how much strip you get +1 for color uniformity in the strip, no dead pixels, and even level of lumen per diode +1 for the quality of the adhesive. It wont budge if you apply it to a smooth, clean surface.

Installed the lights on my camper awning, used the 3 times and winter came so parked the camper. Took it out for the first time this year and only the 1st foot work. Not really happy about this.

Very nice upgrade to my original lights. Easy to install. Very bright. But after about a year the silicone itself is turning yellow. The lights are just as bright. But when I first installed the lights they blended in with the ceiling. Now they look like yellow stripes going across the ceiling. I still like them. But Im not happy with the look. #2 review. After time the LED strip lights continue to yellow and I will replace them soon. I have no other yellow nothing in my house. Does not look good.

Did not stick to the fiberglass. I used alcohol to wipe down prior to sticking; poor adhesion.

***Update*** Still have issues with adhesive but I used a staple gun and made my own improvements. The lights themselves work great and look awesome. I received my package last week and I ordered the power source separately so I had to wait for that before I set the lights up. I set up my lights early evening yesterday and this morning I came downstairs and they were already drooping. I would’ve given it a higher rating if they adhesive worked better, as they looked great when I first set them up.

These worked well for adding light to my 6 x 12 enclose trailer. I cut each 16 foot roo into 3 equal pieces and used a total of 2 rolls to complete my project. The only thing I didnt care for was that the set never came with the connection with the wire already attached to run the third strip after cutting it to length. I realize you can purchase these for really cheap so I think these sets should at least come with one of these connections. Instead they come with a connection to add the strips together to make a continuous string, which is good to have for certain applications but the ones with wires are would be nice for applications such as mine. I had to make my own with some small wire I had laying around. If you do this you must use a thin wire such as 20 or 22 gauge and make sure that the wire ends dont touch each other in the connection. Please note that I cut the plug off the end and ran my own power wire and ground wire from my battery power source in the trailer. Other than that only time will tell if they last and work as they should.

I used this to make an illuminated stripe in my garage to park my car. Installed it in a section of extruded aluminum, such that the tape is enclosed so the car tire cannot damage it, and yet it still lights up as a parking stripe. So far so good.
