> 3 dayThe tape is pretty strong and if you misplace it, then it’ll rip bits of your wall off so be careful of that. I’ve never used LED lights before and this is my first time so I’ll say the brightness is very bright and I recommend having some other light on or it’ll hurt your eyes if you use it too long in the dark. It’s easy to install but you just have to be careful if you want it perfect and straight because like I said, the tape is strong.

> 3 dayA bright and very flexible string of 300 LEDs. Adhesive backing sticks well to metal surfaces. Supplemented this with construction adhesive at each bend in the application, using it as a light source for light box sign letters.

> 3 dayAdhesive tape separates from casing. Not sure if anything will, but Im just repressing it for now.

> 3 dayNice color and easy to use; however, one tiny flaw is that it does not adhere very well at the end where the power cord is attached. The simple remedy (for me) was to put a neodymium magnet over the end... that is, if youre adhering it to a metal surface, like I did.

> 3 dayI cut a short 5 foot section and wrapped it around the bowl of an outdoor dry fountain to provide a nice glow from the fountain at night. These are perfect as the light is warm, not too harsh. The thing that impresses me the most is that they have remained in full working order after 6 months in the Arizona summer. The fountain is not covered, so they have also been soaked in the occasional rains we get. The backing tape looks pretty beaten up, but what do you expect in the harsh environment they are being used in. I love it when something inexpensive totally out performs expectations.

> 3 dayI have ordered 3 reels of these lights for my boat to accent the living area. They are nice and bright. One package came with no connectors or instructions, luckily I ordered connectors separately. The second package had instructions and connectors but the inconsistency could diminish this products quality. The adhesion was the weakest point. Please use 3m adhesion only. I had to tie wrap these to some existing lights I replaced. Once I got through that the lights add positive atmosphere to our boat with just under 2 amp draw for 1.75 reels.

> 3 dayThese are a very good deal, and I was able to connect them to 12V 1-amp converter (for 120V) that I had around the house. Unfortunately they are not the warm white 2700K advertised, and I would guess they are somewhere in the mid-3500K (cool white) range. They are quite bright for LEDs which will be useful for some applications, but in my case - for hidden cabinet lighting - they are a bit too bright given that they are cool white and not warm white. They installed easily, and it was simple to cut them to length. The adhesive backing works reasonably well, although it actually was peeling away from the light strip in some places even as I applied it. UPDATED: I figured out a quick-fix for overly bright cool-white light strips like these. Get some yellow-ochre oil paint. It takes about 5 minutes to dap a bit on each LED for the entire strip, and for under cabinet lighting (hidden) it works very well. I am attaching a before and after for just one bay of a cabinet where we wanted warm-white lighting, and the light from these cool-white LED strips was too harsh. In some cases we decided we needed a second coat, so dont worry about blocking the light - the paint can be wiped off or added to get the right tone.
