> 3 dayThe tape is pretty strong and if you misplace it, then it’ll rip bits of your wall off so be careful of that. I’ve never used LED lights before and this is my first time so I’ll say the brightness is very bright and I recommend having some other light on or it’ll hurt your eyes if you use it too long in the dark. It’s easy to install but you just have to be careful if you want it perfect and straight because like I said, the tape is strong.

> 3 dayThe only complaint I have about this would be that the color temperature seems a bit off. I ordered the warm white which should be around 3000k and it looks a bit more white/blue almost. I have it installed in a room next to a different brand of warm white 3000k leds and there is a significant difference. It’s not a huge deal but definitely noticeable. For a isolated application it’s a good light. Not super bright but bright enough. Dimming works great.

> 3 dayIm using this to light my 4 x 8 Trump/ Pence sign. It lasts all night on a gel cell battery and was easy to install. Something that should be noted is that is that there are regular black/ red wire on the end opposite the connector making it easy to hook up to a battery or other power supply. Its been holding up well to the weather.

> 3 dayI was skeptical at first how well the adhesive would stick but it actually done really well. I ended up buying 2 of the 16’ strips to go down each side of my 17’ Dominator Fishing boat and ended up having extra to go under my storage area and my dash. It has a cut line on it so you can cut off the excess off one end and you can just cut the adaptor plug off and strip back the wires and reuse. I ended up also purchasing the lighted rocker switch on here as well and it was a perfect combination! Really digging these lights on the boat. Looks like it was made to go where I installed. The width was around a 1/4” so it tucked perfectly under the lip on both sides of the boat. So far I’m digging it. I actually ordered my buddy some. After he saw it, he had to have it too! If I have some issues on it coming off I will update my review. For now all seems fine! Hope this helps someone.

> 3 dayWhat happens when you cross low-cost/quality manufacturing with electricity? A fire risk. Enter this water-resistant LED light strip. After un-boxing I plugged it into an old 12V router power supply I had sitting around. Oddly, only about half the strip lit up before fading out. I put a couple pics up to show everyone what I mean. Curious as to how much was lit vs un-lit, I unrolled it and went out to find a tape measure. Because my garage currently looks like it could be on the next episode of hoarders, it took me about five minutes to find. This number is important, because when I came back inside I smelt the unmistakable smell of melting plastic. I quickly measured the lit portion at about 8 ft(out of 16) and went to unplug. Thats when I found out where that smell was coming from, the supplied 12v female plug was almost too hot to touch! I assume the +/- leads were somehow in contact with one another inside. This would lead to a drop in voltage and explain why there wasnt enough power for the entire strip of LEDs. So, I quickly snipped that off an soldered on another one I had sitting around and voila, the entire light strip now worked and I was no longer worried about burning my house down. Two stars for looking nice once fixed, minus 3 stars for the might catch something on fire issues. ***My Rating Criteria*** Build Quality(47.5%) - 0.0 Stars Efficacy(47.5%) - 3.0 Stars Post-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/a Packaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 5.0 Stars WEIGHTED AVERAGE(100.0%) - 1.7 STARS

> 3 dayI bought these lights to install on my patio boat bimini top to provide interior lighting at night. I am very pleased with how it came out. The adhesive backing is pretty good, but I know from experience with similar products that you have to install clips every 12 to 18 to keep them looking tight and clean. For this installation Im going to use zip ties though. The cut points are every few inches. I bought two 16 lights and cut each in half to make 8 strands for the bimini aluminum cross pieces. For connectors I used interior style connectors and peeled back some of the waterproofing to expose the contacts. On a previous installation I tried using piercing vampire style connectors and they didnt work well. The color temperature and brightness are perfect for my application -- warm white and not piercingly bright.

Greater than one weekI wrapped this LED around a retail fixture and it tore at every corner. I have a lot of experience with LED tape and I have never used one I could tear with my hands.

> 3 dayThese lights are very easy to install (if you buy the adapter) and they are much brighter than I expected them to be. They arrived three days after I placed the order.
